We have had our iSpring RO system for 3 years and like it a lot. We lost pressure and determined it was caused by a leaking diaphragm in the tank. The replacement tank works well and fixed the problem, but I don't understand why so many tanks have to be replaced. It's just a rubber diaphragm in the tank - it's a pretty simple design. There really is no need for it to wear out in 2-3 years as seems to be the case for so many users. Why not use a thicker or higher quality material for the diaphragm and charge an extra $10 and then maybe we'd only have to replace the tank every 10-15 years?

I bought this to replace my WATTS Premier WP-4V RO water filter tank (and it is identical). I tested the air pressure but water came out so It means the air bladder has a hole in it. Installed and seemed fine and happy with it. It came Pre-Pressurized at 6.5 psi (yes, I bought a digital air pressure gauge)-I would return it if it is not (bec the description says it is and IF not, it meant it leaked). Fast delivery and worked as described. Round NSF seal is printed on the box and came with a free 1/4"NPT 1/4" quick connect valve and the X plastic stand. Unfortunately my Watts 4 stage RO was designed to input a blue 3/8" hose so I cannot use the new valve. The male stainless on top of the tank is identical to my old one and this with 1/4" NPT, so I just used the original elbow connector (1/4" NPT to 3/8"). It has a round USA flag on the sticker that means it could be manufactured locally (dreaming). Now for longevity, I've been an Amazon customer for a long time and I always update my review.

I installed this is in a few minutes without tools. First I shut off the water supply, then I let all of the pressure out of the system by leaving the tap open. I unscrewed the existing valve from the old tank, and screwed it onto this one by hand after putting teflon tape on the threads. Done.I changed my tank because my old one kept losing pressure, and repressurizing it wouldn't last but a few days. This new tank is great.

The last time I replaced my RO filters, I knew my tank was bad...the water just sat in the tank. I'm pretty sure its bladder had broken. I almost bought a replacement tank from Watts, because I've been using their replacement filters ( Watts 5-PK-4SV Premier 1-Year 4-Stage Reverse Osmosis Replacement Filter Kit, 5-Pack ) for the past couple years and have been very happy. However, their tank cost with shipping seemed pretty high. So, I searched Amazon, and was impressed at the high reviews this iSpring tank is getting.Highlights:1) I didn't need to buy any additional connectors. I just removed the old valves from the old tank and put them on this one. If you have some teflon tape, you might not need anything else. (Of course, this depends on your current setup...if your old tank has a 1/4" threaded connector, then this should be a good match. If not, you can by a cheap adapter and still make this work.)2) It's ready to go, right out of the box: Already pressurized, all I needed to do was swap out the old tank and I was good to go.1 Complaint:The packaging was simply awful. Imagine forcing a cylinder into a box that's too small. It will push out the sides of the box, and the box will take on a cylindrical shape. That was the case with this tank. There was no padding to protect the tank. As a result, it was dented in three places. I considered sending it back, but other reviewers have noted that the tank can still work fine with the dents. So far so good, but someone REALLY needs to improve this. I'd be willing to spend an extra dollar or two on the tank if it meant safer shipping. The only reason I did not give a 5-star rating was because of the damage to the tank.1 Note:At first, I thought I received the wrong tank. This says it's a 4-Gallon tank. However, read the details and you will see that it actually is only designed to hold 3.2 gallons of water (I assume this is because of the space taken up by the tank's bladder.) Not a big deal for me, but just make sure you know what you're getting. All in all, other than the bad packaging, this tank is a great replacement at a great price.

I added this tank to my existing RO tank, and I now no longer run out of water when filling a pot or large water container (like my growler). My 64 oz growler used to take a long time to fill, because the water pressure would drop so low when the original RO tank was getting nearly empty. With the addition of this tank in the system, there is now more than enough capacity left after filling the 64 oz growler, so it fills all 64 oz quickly. In order to add this in to my system, I purchased a valve for the top of the tank ( JG Speedfit PPSV501222WP 3/8-Inch by 1/4-Inch NPFT Female Elbow Shut Off Valve ) and a tee ( JG Speedfit PP0212WP 3/8-Inch OD Union Tee ). I had enough remaining 3/8" plastic pipe left over from the initial installation, otherwise you would need some of that as well. It would be similar to John Guest Blue 100 ft/roll 3/8" Polyethylene Tube Tubing Drinking Water RO Reverse Osmosis DI Aquarium Pipe LLDPE , however, you would likely only need a few feet.

my old tank was constantly losing pressure and the R/O unit was only putting out 20 ounces of water at a time and that was taking too long. with this new tank I can easily fill an large pitcher in no time with no problems. I love it!

A good suitable replacement for my defective OR Reservoir tank. Bought a second tank to increase storage capacity. Has a female 1/4” NPT on the tank and shut off 90° fitting. Fitting is female 1/4”NPT to 1/4” ID quick disconnect that will receive 1/4”OD hose. Fittings are good quality but my existing hose is 3/8 OD. If I used my existing JG shut off and bought a new JG for the second tank. 1/4 NPT threads are machined nicely so not much Teflon tape sealant was needed. Has a 1/4” Schrader valve to check and add air to it. It states it is pre-charge but I highly recommend checking pressure prior to putting in service. I have a large scale pressure gauge so approximately 1 to 4 pounds and was below spec on both tanks. Was easy to pump up and I added to 10 pounds(PSI) with water side empty each and and turned on. My original tank lasted 5 years but not the same brand as this purchase. So we will see how long that last. Also to add to longevity, maintaining pressure. Be aware diaphragm is a moving part when it’s discharge water and being refilled. Found label on them, made in Taiwan and is ISO 9001 with a CE certified 0035.

I have had my R0 system for at least 10 years and recently, my original tank stopped having normal output. Despite trying to inflate the bladder, my original tank would not function. I purchased this after looking at the reviews. Luckily, I saved my connector from my old tank which made installation of the new tank much easier. Sadly, manufacturer only provides 1 size adapter and I think they could easily provide a second adapter to accommodate larger tubes with minimal impact on their manufacturing cost. This would certainly be a benefit for future buyers. I forgot to check the pressure of the air bladder prior to instillation but I was fortunate in that I had excellent pressure from the very beginning. My wife was certainly appreciative of the improved functionality and I did not have too call a plumber!!! I would certainly by this tank again.

Item arrived in excellent condition as it was double boxed. So they must have listened to the complaints of dented tanks. Anyhow, it works great and we're getting a fantastic amount of water out of our RO system again. Water tastes good, no funny off flavors. I double checked the air pressure and it was spot on at 7 lbs prior to installing. Hopefully it lasts more than 2 yrs. This is my 3rd RO tank in 6 yrs. These things seem to be designed with a life expectancy of about 2 yrs which is appalling.

We ordered this tank after our original RO Pure tank failed after 7 years. Took a little home work but I was able to find out the tank here 4 gallon has a 3.1 gallon water reserve which is the same as our original tank. I had ordered the tank on a Monday morning at it arrived on Wednesday. It was packaged well. No dings or dents. It was pre-pressurized to 6 psi. I adjusted it to 7 psi and installed in our system. Its working just like new. Would recommend this to people needing a replacement RO tank.
