Just installed and will do some updates as we go. If you know how to do pex this was cake. We have some serious hard water and I ended up placing this after our water softener. There are several schools of thought on this, easiest for us was post softener. Noticed an immediate change in city water...had a taste test, fridge filter vs bottled vs tap ...prior to install everyone could tell which was tap no problem. After install there was some fun discussion...many picked the tap as bottled. Pretty impressive. We have a lot of sediment in our water so I'll have to report back on this one.UPDATE: after about a year of use we can’t be more pleased with the results. The particulate filter is working great as we no longer have grey sediment settling in toilets. The water continues to taste great and continued taste tests between bottled water and tap water have the tap water winning out most of the time....typically a tough call. The filter change is a snap too but a bit messy. Make sure to depressurize the system before changing the filters using the red button up top. The other thing we determined was that these filters aren’t much more in cost than a fridge filter. We have found no need to buy those anymore. Will be installing in any future home.

Not happy with the way this product was assembled. We had the filter installed by a plumber. Next day noticed a tiny leak coming from the pipe connecting the two housings. This is part of the unit, does not have anything to do with the installation. The plumber had to disconnect the entire unit to find and fix problem. When the unit was assembled at factory, hardly any teflon tape was used to seal plastic pipe threads.**UPDATE**iSpring Customer Service contacted me and reimbursed me for the plumbing expense to fix the leak. Great company!!

After installing our new WGB22B 2-stage sediment & carbon filter, our water not only tastes 100% better but is also chemically much, much safer. In addition, our showers have gotten much better (no dry skin from the chlorine) and our wash is cleaner (now that the Baltimore city dirt is removed). We love the system!Maybe more importantly, we really appreciate how Nick at iSpring took care of a product quality issue. The 1st filter had some problems, and Nick expedited shipping on a replacement system, which is working just fine. Hats off to iSpring for not only making a great product, but also for standing behind that product! Highly recommended!!

I just installed this 2 stage filter system. It works great. I noticed the difference immediately. We are on city water and it is chlorinated pretty heavily. We just built our home and I didn't think anything of it until my daughter started to complain she was itchy every time she took a shower. The chlorinated water was just drying her skin out. Down the whole house filter rabbit hole I went. Upon further investigation I found breathing the vocs created when the hot water steams is not good for you at all. I was looking at much bigger more expensive 10 yr filter systems, but it wasn't in my budget, and honestly they didn't have the best reviews. No matter where I would look ispring was always recommended. I figured Ill give them a shot. For under 300 bucks, and about 100 bucks in pex pipe and fittings I have some high quality H20! My wife made the comment she doesn't need to moisturize after taking a shower, and her hair is softer. My daughter isn't itchy anymore and I and confident in our drinking water quality. These filters should last us about a yr before changing them. The only issue I had was noted by other customers, the ports on the filter bracket are not tapered so whatever fittings you put in them don't seal well. A lot of Teflon tape, and some pipe dope will make sure that you have a tight seal. My final comment is for anyone who is investigating whole house water filters. DO IT. Don't ever assume that the water coming into your house is safe and clean. That water has a lot of chances to become contaminated before it gets to your tap. Even if you are on city water, the chemicals they use to "clean" your water are hazardous to your health. And this is even more so for your pets and children.

Just had it installed today by my friendly plumber. One thing I would suggest to iSpring is to put a drain in the bottom of the filter housing. When removing the housing full of water it's VERY HEAVY. I'm 74 and I know when I have to do this I will have to put some support underneath the bottom of the housing before removing it, then syphon off the water, or just pull out the filter. It's still going to be a pain and messy. Other than that it's a great product....so far.Update on product Support. Over the pass 2 years I've contacted iSpring.... Francis, Nick and Richard for answering questions I had about the system. These guys are terrific for complex and simple questions. If you have doubts about considering their product don't hesitate to contact them. This is one company support group that is extremely helpful for the great products they supply to the public. The quality is superb and I'm very happy with my system.

I am happy to say that it is making a very big difference in the quality of our water. I have city water, so our water wasn't very bad. Our water was affecting our skin in a very adverse way,( me and my wife both have very sensitive skin), but after the filter was installed we could see a difference. Within a few days my wife's face cleared up and my skin rash is gone. I would highly recommend this unit if you are concerned about chemicals in your water.

This has made a world of difference in my home. What used to be rusty brown well water is now clear. I change the filters every 3 months or so - I put a 20 micron filter first, then a 5 micron filter. I wish the filters were a little bit cheaper, but they do the job.I had help from my father-in-law to install. It wasn't overly difficult - the bracket was very helpful. Changing out the filters is pretty easy, you just have to make sure you get the gasket to line up right when you screw it back on, else you're likely to get some leaks.

We had the kit installed by a professional plumber and recommend it be done that way. This filter connects to the main water line so any issues with a DIY installation could be disastrous. Like a few other reviewers, our iSpring WGB22B had a leak between the 2 filters. iSpring immediately shipped us another kit (without filters) but the wall bracket was bent. I am giving this 3 stars because there truly is a noticeable difference in the taste and quality of the water after installing the iSpring WGB22B even with our clean water here in Montreal. I was skeptical about noticing any difference but it is definitely noticeable. However the fact that the first one leaked, and the second kit had a dented bracket makes we worried about the overall quality control at iSpring. I will be placing a water leak sensor underneath the filters just in case more leaks develop. To summarize, the filters definitely improved our water. Update 5 months later: I am giving the iSpring system a 5 star review as it really improved the quality of our water. Everyone who has tasted our tap water notices how the water is refreshing and doesn’t taste of anything (at all!). We got in contact with Nick at iSpring who promptly helped us resolve the leak issue mentioned in the initial review and the system has been working perfectly since. This kind of direct customer support is rare and we really appreciated it. I added a picture of our installation and a filter to show how massive they are. Another reason for the 5 stars is that we did not notice any drop in water pressure at all. It’s a simple system but well designed and does the job!

I installed these i-Spring 2-Stage 20" Water Filters a little over a year ago. Recommended replacement of the filters inside the cans is approximately every 6-Months, but I let them go for a whole year without any problems... water pressure / flow on all my appliances never dropped, taste never changed, clarity never changed, etc... they worked flawlessly for a whole year. NOW... this is for a household of 2 Adults / 0 Children, working professionals with some travel away from home... so, our system doesn't get used as frequently as others. I wish I would have plumbed a water meter in-line in the system to monitor how much water I used over the course of the year, but I didn't. I digress... these water filters are awesome! I had a lot of questions as I was designing my whole house water filtration system before purchasing and installing as I was doing a whole-house repipe from the main to every single fixture in the home... I reached out to i-Spring directly and Nick was very helpful in answering my questions and made me confident in their product and happy with my purchase. Thank you Nick - Thank you I-Spring!

I purchased the 2 stage model and it took the taste and the after-shower smell of chlorine completely out of the water. Hardest and most frustrating part of the installation was running back and forth to the hardware store to get another part to reroute my water supply. It was fun planning the project to have the least amount of elbows and least amount of tubing while making it not too compact for easier upkeep. I replaced the filters after a year and the 1st stage filter was pretty orange but was still effective. I'll change the filters out after 9 months this time. When I changed out the filters, which need a substantial amount of torque to seal, I noticed a small leak in the tubing between the housing units. Fortunately, iSpring is sending a new one without charges! Thank you Nick!
