Boy did this save my @ss a bundle. We have really ugly water here, to the point where the water-filter guy kept trying to upsell me even though the system we had was brand-new installed by previous owner. The solution - buy a box of these things and change the filter once a month. Keeps the water pressure good, and at a price like this, I'm able to change the filter long before it starts clogging.

I purchased these filters to replace much more expensive 5-micron string filters that I've been using. The inner diameter of the tube is larger than my old filters and I was worried at first that they would not fit into the filter housing and seal tightly enough to prevent bypass leakage around the ends. After 3-weeks however, there doesn't seem to be any such leakage. It appears to be filtering particles from all of the water that passes through it. These filters are also slightly thicker than conventional string-wound filters. I don't really know if they'll last as long as my string-wound filters did (6-months) which is why I hesitate to give it a higher rating. It probably will but only time will tell.Edit: I've now used one of the filters for 4-months with no problems. In fact, it seems to filter the water much better than the string 5-micron filters I was previously using. Much better water pressure too. I've upgraded them to 5-stars.

When I fist got them I was a little skeptical, but they filter out a lot of material.

I just do not know what "shherness" and thickness have to do with a water filter these are not nylon stockings as AI program obviously thinks. I have to check if there is a one micron version as water quality deteriorates.

I was buying from big name water filtration companies but thought I'd try this "off brand"...so very glad I did too. Appears to be same construction and material as filters almost twice the cost!

Well, I learned something about homeownership this weekend...that I need to change water filters more often. This box was a perfect, cost effective solution to being able to put this on my bi-monthly calendar to do so. I’m not sure if it’s the pandemic or just how annoying box stores have gotten, but these things are never in stock, so this large box was a great alternative.

Noticed a HUGE difference with the 5 micron filter both with the feel of the water in the shower and the taste of the drinking water. Glad we made the change. Also great price for the quality and quantity. All stocked up for a while. Would definitely purchase again.

Twenty inch water filters aren't cheap when bought separately. This is the way to buy for any home or business that wants to keep their water source filtered. We change them about once every month to six weeks and I don't want to run out. Quality is same as as single pack filters. I also use ten inch carbon filters under the kitchen sink for drinking water and cooking.

Good value for the money. Much cheaper than others and works just as well. I will purchase again for sure! As stated by others, if anything it just filters better than the string, or 30, 50 micron filters do. It gets loaded up with iron in our system. As long as you have good water psi. it is good to go.We have to use Iron out salts in our system as well. Toilet bowls and tub aren't getting iron stains as soon as with the old string 30 or 50 micron filters that cost us a lot more.If in doubt I would try one for a few months to see how it is working in your system. If everything is good, then go for the bulk purchase!
