Easy to mount with only a wrench or two and some teflon tape. (Not included) works fine with my two shower heads. Standard rainfall head and a hosed multi spray handheld head. Water seems fresher and softer. Not even going to take the time to have the water tested with or without the unit in line. Brought from Amazon warehouse as opened-New for under $9. Could not refuse.
