Lead is sometimes high in Georgia water. This systems works great and took hardness from over 1000ppm to 40ppm and still dropping, with no taste of any hard metals in water.

It was easy to install and our water is noticeably cleaner. I had the same problem of leaky joints at the inlet and outlet and had to redo the fittings with more Teflon tape. It's the only water filtration system I've ever bought but I'm very happy with it and it gives us a lot of peace of mind knowing that our water is cleaner now.

Its rather massive for a home filter kit, was wondering if it would effect available water pressure, but its all good. Easy to set up too.
