The system came aligned for water flowing right to left, but the pipe coming into my house is on the left, the rest of the plumbing was on the right. This got fixed easily. I simply removed the bolts, turned the mounting frame around, and installed it to change the direction of the flow. Works great! No reddish stains any more!

As someone with zero plumbing, I installed this sytem in 2 hours: 15 minutes for reading the literature and/or video, 10 minutes for setup of tools and cleaning up the area, 1 hour for the installation, and 20 minutes for checks after the install. We purchased this because we want an efficient way to treat water coming into our house and I know our well water has high levels of lead in it.

We used to find hints of iron and lead in our well water; started to take it seriously after the Flint water crisis. Got this iSpring 2-stage whole house system as it fit our budget. Easy to install. The brownish stains are gone. So if your looking to pick this up for your household, go for it you can't go wrong picking this system.

I tried that filter that hooks straight to the main valve next to the water heater tank and that is neat. My tap water is clear and directly drinkable. Convenient.

We have small kids in our house. Want to ensure that our water is safe for drinking and daily consumption. Our pipe system is aged. I know that pipe corrosion may add copper, lead, and other metals to our water. Found this system that fit my budget and could treat water coming into my house. Very satisfed with the results.
