We realized something was wrong with our water when it emitted a terrible odor. We shocked the well and then tested our water. It was positive for Coliform and E Coli. We were very worried as we have several small children. Bad water can make you very, very sick! Searching for a reasonably priced solution, we came across this. It seemed almost too good to be true. Because it was an Amazon Prime item, we decided we would try it and see if it worked. We bleached the well again, this time using two gallons, set up this iSpring UV sanitizer inside our home and waited for the bleach to run out. My husband has done lots of plumbing so it was easy to install. We found all the connectors at our local hardware store. If you are not familiar with plumbing, it is worth hiring a professional to install this. Ignore the reviews by others who have no clue how to do plumbing. Here are our recent water test results done by our county health: Indoor Water run through UV sanitizer- Negative for Coliform and E. coli Outdoor water hydrant not on the UV sanitizer -Positive for Coliform and E. coli These samples were taken on the same day and tested at the same lab. Our indoor water has been declared safe to drink and use as we want. I am so happy with this product. We could have spent thousands of dollars getting a filtration system or putting in a new well, but this product has saved our pocketbooks and our health! No need to worry if this product works, because we have proof that it does!!

We have been using iSpring UV filter for a year now and system was easy to set up and super reliable. The recent freeze impacted our farm and we needed to get replacement parts. Francis at iSpring was very helpful and had our items ready to go in a day. We love the fact that their system is cost effective, easy to install, and reliable. Francis and customer support was the icing on top. This is our go to vendor from now on for UV filtration systems.

Solidly built stainless steel. The thread size is true. Regular amount of Teflon tape and regular torque on a 1” female to 3/4” PEX adaptor, no leaks after 2 years. I havent tested my water for microbes, but I imagine it works as advertised as long as science still works. You do need to either mount it high or horizontally since you need room to slide a long UV bulb out to replace the bulb about once a year. Place this after your whole house filter system to remove any particulates so the UV has a chance to kill everything and decrease how often you need to clean the quartz sleeve. Mounts are solid and holds the tube tightly. I recently went to replace the bulb and screwed up, and broke the quartz crystal sleeve. Completely my fault. I called iSpring in Atlanta USA, at 678-261-7611 and spoke with Adam. Probably the best customer experience I’ve ever had! Even though it’s my fault it’s being covered under warranty. Sending out a new quartz sleeve and even an upgraded UV ballast. Adam is the man! I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone. Super quality construction, amazing customer service, and at about $4 per month to run the UV bulb it’s an incredibly cheap way to treat your water for the whole house.

I bought this UV light to replace one that had failed. Price was attractive and installation was very easy. The unit was damaged in transit causing a crack in the glass sleeve inside. The company sent me a replacement sleeve ASAP no questions asked. After 2 years the electrical ballast had failed due to an electrical surge. I worked with a rep named Adam who arranged to get me a new ballast quickly, no questions asked. I highly recommend this product and the service after the sale!!

We purchased it on July 2018 and it was as advertised. After resolving our well problems I installed the UV sterilizer for the welfare of our guest and family. This is basic unit with a ballast that had a green/red lights to show it’s operating. Ten days ago I noticed no light and assumed the UV light needed to be replaced but I was wrong. The ballast’s small fuse that’s part of the circuit board had turned black, I.e., fuse blown. Called ISpring the manufacturer and explained the problem. Although the warranty lapsed in July the company readily shipped a replacement. Good customer service. I bought a plug-in surge protector to reduce the risk of another blown fuse.

After a lot of research, we purchased the iSpring Whole House Water Filtration System and added the iSpring UVF55 55W Whole House UV Water Purifier to it. We purchased and installed the system November 2018, it's been a year and we couldn't be happier with the water running through the house. We are on city water, but we're out in the country and at the county line - we had been having some issues with buildup in our appliances and fixtures so we decided to give this a shot. The water quality has improved a ton and our appliances/fixtures stay clean. Overall very happy with this system.

I installed the iSpring WGB32B-PB whole house filter, the iSpring WSP50 sediment filter, and the iSpring UVF55 ultraviolet disinfection sterilizer water filter, on my well system in the crawl space under my house. I gave the installation four stars, however you will need some plumbing skills and tools. I had to mount the UVF55 horizontally due to the height of my crawlspace. It was not a problem and operates just fine. I was unable to latch the bracket for the ultraviolet filter by just pushing up on it, so I bumped it with the heel of my hand as I saw in one of the installation videos. One of the brackets latched the other one broke. After contacting product support by email, they were very helpful and Francis provided me with a new bracket that arrived in the mail six days later. I recommend not bumping the bracket with the heel of your hand but pushing it up on the shoulder near the latch with a large screwdriver. I recommend the system, my water is clean, tastes good, no odor and my water pressure is actually better than it was with the old system. As far as the effectiveness of the UV filter, I do not know because I did not have a bacteria problem before I installed it, I only installed it as a precautionary measure.

I bought this unit a year ago. It was recommended to me by my neighbor who has the same system. We both get our water from a creek and needed a system that could eliminate as many contaminates from the water as possible. The system is easy to install and replacing the UV lamp is not a problem. The ballast on the unit stopped working after a year but a quick call to iSpring customer service and a replacement was on it's way.

We bought a fixer upper. Everything needs replacing/ upgrading, including our well house. I read hundreds of reviews on every type of well filtration system and all of the types of extras. iSpring has fantastic reviews, so I bought this. We redid everything 2 weeks ago and wow what a difference! I'm very happy with this system so far. It was very easy to install (we did it ourselves). The water is odorless, colorless, and softer. I paired this UV sterilizer with a sediment filter, Expeess Water 3stage filtration system, and an electronic descaler. The only reason I'm giving it 4/5 and not 5/5 is solely b.c. it's only been 2 weeks. But so far I am very happy with this purchase.

We are so pleased with the products that we have purchased from ispring. We have installed the UVF55 Whole House UV Disinfection System along with Whole House 3 stage water filter system. Our water is now perfect! We've had it tested and it is contaminant-free. There is no smell and the water tastes great! We are very impressed with the excellent customer service that we received from Nick. He was able to quickly resolve a small issue that we had. Communication with Nick was prompt and helpful. The photo shows our installed system. We highly recommend ispring products.
