I flushed 2 full tanks thru the system before being comfortable I had the carbon particles clear. Coffee is much better and I think that the filtered water is better than bottled water that I bought at the store.

I also connected the unit to my refrigerator with the ice maker kit. I was initially drawn to this unit because I tried the filtered water when I visited my uncle.

Our tap water after using Brita water filter read about 160 TDS, but when we used water filter it read about ~10 TDS (Total dissolved solids). Did make a difference!

I highly recommend this iSpring system. I went with the system with a pump and it helped the output.
