On 9/2016 it will have been one year since the purchase of my iSpring 500 GPD tankless unit. I have already replaced the pre filters at 6 months after buying the unit. In September I will replace them a second time. I just checked my output TDS after the mineral cartridge (I added MC at purchase) and its at 30 with a source of 300 TDS. The pre-filters are doing a great job preserving my RO membrane! FYI, I filter 3-20 GPD.

I did not review every home R/O device before buying this one. There might be better out there but I am very happy with the ISpring system. It was easy to set up, economical, and does a great job removing the baddies from the water. Along with the baddies, these type of devices also removes the good calcium and magnesium. I opted for the replacement mineral cartridge which my test show, does replace both minerals. Replacement cartridges are the same quality as what came with the system.

Works great. I unfortunately ordered well ahead of needing the filters and failed to check the contents until I actually needed them. The plastic on the end of the stage 3 filter was broken which meant I couldnt use it and I could no longer return it. If you do the same thing as me and order ahead of time, I would recommend making sure none are damaged before you put them in storage.

This has been a great RO unit for us and pretty reasonable price to change the filters compared to other RO units we have used. My only complaint is that they should include the wrench to loosen the filter covers. I dont know what happened to the wrench we got when I first installed the filters. I cant keep track of specialized tools or what they go to. It should just be included in the replacement filters. Still a great product. Works great

I went with the 6 stage system and so far it works great. Ive only ever used a rainsoft 3 stage for a comparison but to me the taste of the water is great. My wife is undecided if the taste is better or worse than the rainsoft however she has no complaints about this system.

Im still on the original set of filters supplied with my iSpring system and wont be fitting these until late November 16. Externally, they are identical to the originals. Im happy with them.
