Our house is also only 3 years old so the build up inside the pipe could not be significant but we were seeing stains all over the kitchen. We purchase this water descaler to pervent future build up in the pipes. Stains are less noticeable, I am gaining more faith in this product now.

Bought weeks ago. I can't say the difference precisely just yet but I think the pipes are being cleaner from the inside, which will increase my water pressure. So far does seeing less residue on the sink and galss surface.

The install wasn't too bad, easy to connect, no tools needed. Had it 2 months Shower doors stay cleaner. No spots. Faucets no build up. Tea kettle no build up.

Definitely recommend this product. The kettle has to be descaled with vinegar once monthly.
