Installed this due to high chromium-6 levels in our local city supply. The metals are concentrating because the water table levels are low where I live. Anyway, the water here is pretty good, but with a child and everything I figure why not be safe. So, TDS levels are around 200 with what the city supplies to my tap. After being filtered the TDS is 8. The water I am getting out my iSpring is clear and perfectly tasteless as water should be. I havent had water so good in so long I forgot what tasteless (pure water) was like. Installation was a bit more than I bargained for, but not impossible. My only real complaint is that the faucet iSpring gives you comes with a rather small base and plastic washer. Its great if you have a smaller sized hole in your sink or counter top, but its just slightly larger than a standard sink hole. iSpring really needs to include a larger base plate and plastic backing washer for standard sink hole sizes. I got mine to work, but just and it was a pain in the rear to mount and tighten. My only other concern is the quick-connect connections, instead of compression connections. Ive never used them and I am not convinced they are long lasting without leaks. Time will tell and we shall see. But, so far so good, except one little leak I had to fix with the black waste line where it enters on top of the filter assembly. It was rather difficult to shove the black tubing into the connector because of the way the device the tubing is going into moves and there is not a lot of room there. I had to remove the connection and trim the line slightly and reconnect and it seems to have stopped the leak. My next job is to splice in the ice maker supply line to make pure water ice cubes. No more buying bottled water than comes in plastic containers.

Ive had a few of these over the years. Theyve been from eBay though, and the seller/quality has been... Unknown... for lack of a better word. The iSpring RCC7 is really good. It has all of the features I wanted and really no major complaints. Instructions were clear which helped. The only problem was that the Feed Water Adapter, when converted to 3/8 x 3/8 does not work with my 3/8 hookup to the existing faucet. The hole for it is just not large enough to accommodate the inner copper piece of my hose . None of the hoses at home depot were able to fit, so I had to buy a third party Feed Water Adapter.

Ive owned this system and still am very pleased with it. The TDS level isnt quite what bottled water is, but compared to our city water its a huge improvement and has paid for itself many times over compared to what wed be spending in purchased water. I recently had an issue with a part and 123filter quickly got a replacement out to me. Id recommend this system for anyone looking for a RO.

We installed these filters about six months ago. It wasn;t the easiest process due to some particularities of our piping (tight space, non flexible piping, etc.), but we made it work and iSpring was great in sending us a different metal piece for the precut holes in our sink. If the one you get with the kit is too small (like ours), just ask. We haven't tested particulate levels but the water tastes better. We also added the component that replaces the healthy minerals lost in filtration. Our family members down the street bring over jugs to fill up for themselves! The company follows up frequently to make sure everything is going well.
