I was warned by a friend that I needed to get very clean, straight tubing cuts to prevent any leaking. I took that to heart and used a new x-acto blade in my knife, and had no trouble setting this up under my kitchen sink. Cames with everything I needed to setup the unit. It took a few hours to completely fill up the tank, at which point I completely flushed all the water. I bought a TDS meter and tested: At the tap I see a little over 220 ppm contaminates. Water from the iSpring is showing 8 ppm contaminates. That is a real big difference Some say they don;t like the way the water tastes; but I love it. It is very clean and refreshing. I never liked the overly mineral laden taste of spring and some drinking waters. If you really like that extra mineral flavor, there is another unit with an addition stage that add just the minerals needed to get that taste back into the water. I now drink quite a lot of water, this from someone who hated drinking water 7 months ago.
