I am somewhat handy and my new home already had a filtered faucet to which I could hook up the system. The tds has since stabilized between 10 and 11ppm.

A few weeks after installation, we did have a big leaky mess under the sink because one of the filtercases wasn't completely tightened. Everything has been working fine after fixing that.

If you need an affordable filter that delivers the best tasting water, your search ends here. I live in Chicago so the tap water is not to be trusted with the old pipes and city filtering. Got this system 4 months ago to get clean water for the whole family. No complaints. Love our water.
