I would recommend this set-up. I now purchas a few stainless water bottle for very one in our family and fill them up with filtered water. Glad no more waste of plastic bottles.

i went with the system with reminineralization filter. Some state you should replenish the minerals that are depleted, but as long as you're supplementing in some way, you should be fine.

5 years after install and the filtered water is still fresh and tasty unlike our awful city water (which comes from a high algae lake). Recommended.

If you plan to supply more than 1 tap I would say you will need a pump. We hook ours to the fridge for ice maker. It's barely produce enough water for drinking and cooking. We have five people in the family btw.

Ours was installed by a handy service. The water is very good I didn't usually drink water but I am drinking water now.
