I was skeptical when I bought this but figured it was worth the try. Easy to install and then just plug it in. I installed it in the morning and took a shower that night, definitely could tell a difference, soap lathered up more and felt very clean when done. Within a couple days I noticed less residue in the ice maker and dishwasher. Its been a couple weeks and the shower heads stopped plugging up and the water heater seems to recover a bit faster. Its been three weeks and the difference is very noticeable. If this is all I get out of it then I will be very happy. Great purchase in my opinion. I have very hard well water in south texas.

I had doubts about this thing, but I gave it a try and after one week I can see no more scale on faucets and drains. We had a water softener for 8 years and we loved it. We were tired of buying bags of salt and sometimes we could taste the salt in our water. Just after three weeks of use ED2000, water still feels hard on body and especially hands, but there is no more scale and it soaps up better. To see better results, you might have to clean the scale off first. If you want soft water then this is not for you.

Some people think these things don't work, and I am sure there are scenarios where they aren't effective. But for me, it has been the perfect solution, and I am glad I tried it. It works for me.

I began noticing an improvement in water condition in about 3 weeks. Our water here in Central Texas is about medium on the hardness scale. After 2 months of operation the descaler has met my expectations. No more white scale that was initially visible after only a few months of use. We have also noticed a big improvement with the scale buildup around the water line and other places it builds up like shower heads and drains.

I have a granite sink which really showed the buildup and would never come clean. Now the deposits are all gone and it's even cleaned the deposits off of my shower curtain. I'm happy with my purchase and have already recommended this to friends and neighbors.

I tried the descaler but it didn't reduce the hard water scaling on the dishes enough. It may work fine in more moderate areas.
