I have been using the iSpring RCC7 for 6 weeks and am very well satisfied with the complete water system. The water is pure and delicious, clean and safe. I have city water which tested safe with a 10 point home water test kit, but I had always tasted a slight metal aftertaste. I have copper pipes in the house and a copper feed line from the street and the tap water test indicates a 1.3 ppm copper level and a 1.0 ppm chlorine level (within acceptable safe ranges) and tests positive for pesticide detection (city does not test for pesticide level and standards levels are vague). My city water is a river source which drains agricultural land, so pesticide detection is not a big surprise. Now my RCC7 water tests Zero for copper, chlorine and pesticides and Zero for six other contaminant levels. Water pH remains at 6.5. Installation is simplified with the concise and detailed 40 page installation and owners manual. Large print and lots of detailed pictures, including color pictures, guided me with a trouble free installation. All needed parts are included, even a small roll of teflon tape. The unit arrives in one box securely packaged with one complete set of filters. The 1/4in; O.D. tubing is color coded and each of the four pieces is 48 inches long. The plastic Quick Connect fittings are simple, secure and do not leak. The instructions define a maximum water pressure of 85 psi. I used a new pressure test gauge attached to the garden hose thread on my utility sink and found the operating (dynamic) water pressure regulated at 55 psi, but when the water flow was stopped (static) the pressure quickly climbed to 100 psi or whatever the line pressure was from the street. A defective water pressure regulator was allowing the pressure to leak in, thus putting a very high static pressure on my whole house. Replacing the water regulator cured that potential problem for the whole house and now regulates both dynamic and static pressure at about 50 psi.

Simply 5 Star ... I did a pretty extensive research around RO filters before going with iSpring (5 stage). if you do a simple search, you know by now that there are two popular RO systems at this price point. I am going to name it the other RO brand; for the sake of fairness. btw, I paid for my system and I am writing this review mostly cuz I went back and forth so many times before choosing ... this might help you make up your mind! 1- Build quality: for the price, the build quality of pipes and hoses is great, plastic locks are a plus. If you believe in any of these standard and quality tags, iSpring claims they have WQA gold standard on their setups, which was a pro on my list. The other brand only has that on their so called Premium and more expensive model. 2- Water quality: My tap water dissolved particles are like this: Warm tap water: ~280 ppm Cold tap water: ~220 ppm RO tap output (Obviously from cold water): 4 to 6 ppm 3- PH and taste: I wanted to use the water for some machines like humidifier and espresso machine, so I didnt want minerals in my water. Im used to drinking zero water. If you dont like the taste you can go for the 6 stage filters, also helps with the PH ... 4- Last but not least, Customer service: I had some questions so I decided to call the companies before making a purchase, iSpring happened to be more responsive and more informative IMO. with these being said, I strongly recommend this RO filter system, maintenance is also easy ... I've put some photos as well, setup was relatively easy and straightforward. I recommend watching the installation video, there are some tips in there that are specific to this system and are helpful .

After buying gallon jugs of Poland Spring water, my wife finally convinced me to get a reverse osmosis water filtration system. She really wanted me to get a Coway system but I couldnt justify paying an extra $30-40 they charge as a service fee. I came across this Ispring system and just went for it. Installation was pretty easy but had some issues with leaking (this was resolved by pushing the tubes in all the way and being generous with the teflon tape. After a month of using this, I can say its been a great investment so far and the water tastes great. I dont have any way of testing the PPM of the filtered water so I cant comment on that but it tastes clean. Would definitely recommend this system for anybody on the fence about it.

First of all, it works. It produces a lot of very pure water on demand. Second of all, its easy to install. Im very un-handy but even I could install it correctly. Josh helped me from start to finish and I couldnt ask for better customer service. Once installed its easy to replace the filters when they have reached their lifespan. It really beats purchasing filtered water at the grocery store. If you will take the time and expense of installing one of these, you will save a lot of money and time in the long run.

I had been using water distillers for many years. But the most recent distiller I purchased made water that had a bad taste and smell. So I decided to look for a water filter to replace it. I was impressed that the iSpring RCC7 would remove 1,000+ water pollutants including chlorine and fluoride, and that the thin-film composite semipermeable reverse osmosis (RO) membrane filters down to 0.0001 microns. So I purchased the iSpring system for under $200. Installing the iSpring was a little time consuming but not difficult--except for inserting the RO membrane. Removing that plastic cap was very difficult even with the cap wrench--it had been screwed on very tight at the factory. (Maybe the unit you receive wont be like that.) The written instruction manual that was enclosed was pretty good, except for Figure 10 and Step 8. What really helped me was a couple installation videos on youtube. The colored plastic tubes were helpful. But if iSpring included colored plastic collars at the places where the colored tubes connected, it would be even easier to make the tubing connections properly. I didnt have a half-inch drill bit to drill the hole in our stainless steel sink for the faucet. So I used the biggest bit that I could get into my 3/8IN; drill, and then after I drilled the hole I tilted the drill to enlarge the hole. My wife was a little concerned about losing storage space under the sink. But I solved that problem (see the picture). Because the tank can be installed horizontally, I went to one of the big box stores and got a couple shelf brackets and a bungee cord. Then I mounted the tank about 14.5 inches high. I left all the tubes long so that I can pull the unit off the wall and out into the open when it comes time to replace the filters. So very little storage space was lost. I had a little concern with buying the RCC7 (which does not have an electric pump) because I didnt if I had the recommended 40 lbs of water pressure. I called our water company and they said that the pressure at the water meter should be at least 45 lbs, but I didnt know if the water line going to the sink might have been adversely effected from our hard water over the years My iSpring will produce a half-gallon of water in about 30 seconds. The water produced by the iSpring has no taste. I have a TDS meter and the iSpring water produced a reading of 015 ppm. Our tap water registered about 380 ppm. So I am quite happy with the iSpring system. I also checked various water sources with my dowsing. Most people dont understand that dowsing can be used for a lot more than finding water. I believe that dowsing works at a quantum level and that not only can dowsing be used to read energy, it can also be used to change energy. I had read Raymon Graces book. The Future Is Yours: Do Something About It! ] and recently I took his online workshop. Mr. Grace says there are 3 principles in use: all things are composed of energy, energy is impressed upon matter, and energy follows thought (paraphrasing Einstein). Anyway, I dowsed my tap water using a pendulum and a dowsing chart, and I got that it was 10% positive and 40% negative. I dowsed some bottled water (Ozarka) and I got that it was 40% positive and 20% negative (maybe because of the plastic). For Evamor smart water I got 50% positive and no negative reading. For the iSpring water, my dowsing showed that it was at least 99% positive and no negative reading. For many years I have been adding trace minerals to my water. I recommend the Trace Minerals Research - Concentrace Trace Mineral Drops - 8oz, which contains 72+ ionic trace minerals. Im very happy with the iSpring system and wished I had purchased it sooner.

After installing this I bought a PPM tester to see how well it actually works and it was quite surprising, I tested the water from this first and it was 1PPM (parts per million of sediment) which is almost distilled water. I tested the normal cold tap water and it was 12PPM (Lower Mainland B.C) which is already amazing and the hot water was 24PPM which wasnt surprising since this is an old building. You might want to just buy a PPM tester first and check how bad the water is first before buying something like this though.

The water tastes delicious. Crisp, clean, pure. Weve been buying steam distilled water for years and finally purchased and installed the iSpiring RCC7. Weve had it installed for 1 month. The water from my iSpring is indistinguishable from any store bought distilled water. Even my wife, who has not consumed unfiltered water in 20 years is now a believer. Its worth every penny; you wont regret the purchase.
