My husband finished the DIY setup in about 2 hours. After letting it run for 20 minutes first and drain filled tank twice, we tasted the water, and It was clean and smooth. We are happy with the system, even our 5 year old son agreed with me.

Fairly easy installation, now I get clean drinking water! I very much worry about contaminants getting into my kids systems so I love that this system removes 99% of such a vast array of contaminants.

Replaced this ro system with our old iSpring 5 stage system. The system worked flawlessly over the past 6 years. We replaced the system because we have pretty low water pressure in the whouse and the old one didn't have a booster pump to produce water fast enough sometimes. The 6 stage system with additional alkaline filter is definitely the way to go. It makes the water taste a bit smoother and sweet. We have confident that this new system will provide us clean water years to come.

I tested on a purified cup of water, I got 27 ppm on the TDS test. My tap water showed 355 ppm. It's much safer to drink purified water since the system filters the water so well.
