As a retired TW (technical writer) I agree that the manual needs some tweaking to help customers on their install, its worse for first timers and people who dont normally do maintenance work on their house. Ive done most of my own home repairs so I go into projects a little better prepared with that experience, unless a professional is needed. Besides the annoying broken or missing parts, preparation is key. So for first timers, read the manual a couple of days before your installation, make sure you have everything (ie; wrenches, googles, towels, silicone caulking, Teflon tape etc.) so you can go to the hardware store before you start.

We have been using Brita filters and were fed up with re-filling every time..also if you check the fine print, Brita filters just filter the chlorine and a few other contaminants.. so we ended up buying this filter, and now we can't be happier,.. filtered water direct from the tap, and the water tastes so better, the installation is super easy... I wash my produce and grains in filtered water and this filter has made it so convenient for me.. love it!

Great set up so far! I special ordered it directly from iSpring since I didn't need the faucet. I installed this unit in the cabinet above my refrigerator in order to bypass the Samsung filter system inside the refrigerator that stopped working. Now I am saving money on those overpriced filters and getting better quality water and ice cubes! See my video for a peek at how I installed it. In the video I mention having to install a replacement pressure regulator, but accidentally call it a "filter". The original pressure regulator started making noise, so iSpring sent me a new one.

Why are these replacement filters so hard to find?!?!I bought 3 of these systems last year at the beginning of the pandemic. The PP filter is IMPOSSIBLE to find anywhere.

I have been buying springs water for drinking and even that has an inconsistent taste lately. So I decided to get a water filter system and after doing some research, I ended up with this one. Why? because it's compact, easy to install and change filters, and produce decent drinking water without waste any water.

I used to have an RO filter unit. This one lets the minerals in and water is tastes even better.

The taste is just as good as bought from the store. Much easier and nicer to use then the Brita pitcher we've been using for 2 years.

I am happy that I made the move and put in in. It was not difficult to install and I am not particularly handy. Water tastes good.
