This system really works. One year on and it’s working without any issues. Thanks Nick. I added a 300 gallon holding tank and booster pump so my whole house is RO. My total dissolved solids (TDS) was 640 before installation. Within a few minutes of operation my TDS was, and still is, 7. My bottled water tests about 15!

This is my third filter system from iSpring. The first two used tanks and this is my first tankless. Experienced some leaking from the RO canister while the booster pump ran. Adam in customer service helped me and not only sent some extra O rings but an entire RO canister. And I really appreciate that. Because he could have sent just the end cap but instead wanted to make sure whatever the problem was, it was 100% solved the first time. My original end cap must have had some minor deviation. Once I put in the new O ring and end cap, not a single drop has leaked. Literally I flushed the system and started using it. I don't have strong water pressure where I am, but the flow is fine for what I need. A family may still want a small tank to ensure a *very* high flow. The system is great and exactly what I have come to expect from iSpring. They give you a completely assembled unit and all you have to do is insert the RO membrane. Could you build your own? Sure. If you knew all the right parts and wanted to spend the time. Or you could just buy it from iSpring and have it completely assembled and shipped to your door. And they're in Georgia so you get timely support and they can ship parts fast. I won't buy from anyone else.

Our iSpring RCS5T 500 product has been installed for around a month now and so far so good. It does take up more space than I would have liked under our kitchen sink, but we've worked around that. It's great to have wonderful drinking water at our fingertips, not only for us, but for our two dogs as well. We are on well water so this is a fantastic improvement for us. The support we have received at iSpring is excellent. Highly recommend this product.

Thanks, Josh. We've considered over the years about getting a real (more efficient) water filtration system instead of the screw on the faucet, a pitcher or just the frig water type filters. We just didn't have confidence in the city water supply, especially after occasional notices that the city water had not met safety standards. Knowing clean water is vital to good health, we finally decided to spend the extra $ for a system that would remove contaminants rather than just change the taste. We are very happy with ISpring RCS5T. In addition to having the confidence of uncontaminated water, the taste also improved. And, to top it off, we recently received another notice from the city that the water was contaminated and some areas were being provided with bottled water. that just confirmed that we made the right decision. We are really glad to have the ISpring water filtration system!!

Great unit. Doesn’t need a tank. Endless water. Used this drill to install the spigot in the granite counter top. Very easy.. BGTEC Dry Diamond Drill Bits 2pcs 12mm with Quick Change Hex Shank for Granite Marble Porcelain Tile Ceramic . Needs power so be prepared to install an outlet for the very quiet pump. Its worth the effort. Make a dam surrounding the hole location out of plumbers putty so the cooling water just runs into the sink. Bottom line: endless clean, good tasting water not limited by the tank!

Before getting a RO system, I tried some quick filter and didn't feel any difference. When searching for a RO system, I was put off by most systems either for their bulkiness or extra maintenance required, until I found this system at Amazon. I am glad for my choice of iSpring. It was easy to install. Other than change filters about every half year, it worked maintenance free for me over one year now. And it only takes a manageable space. RO system did make the difference for my coffee machine and tea kettle. They don't have any visible deposit anymore, and I drink >4 cups of coffee or tea every day. One extra good thing about iSpring is that they have real custom service. I had some issues changing filter and the only thing I need to do is calling the number well printed on the filter itself. A guy called Nick answered the call. And in a few minutes, case solved.

I have a well supplying my house. The TDS is about 1000. High in calcium and magnesium. I purchased two of the 500 GPD units and have it filling a 300 gallon poly tank. This feeds my whole house. It is great. No more salty water (water softener) or water stains or anything. The RO take the TDS down to about 25. Both RO's have been running for over a year. One unit had an issue with the pump, and ISpring took care of it right away, good service. Because I have 25 TDS I chose not to re-mineral the RO water. If I did it would take the TDS to about 40-50. I have done dozens and dozens of hours research on RO water and systems over the last 20 years, owned many different systems and am very happy with my ISpring units. The key is to get a large enough surge tank to handle your demand so you are never waiting for the RO unit.

I bought this unit about 4 months ago with the intention of setting up a whole house RO system and I have been very happy with the product performance. It operates quietly, and has high volume output (as compared to other RO systems) as advertised. Customer support is domestically based and very helpful. Nick, in product support was able to help me find a replacement RO membrane when Amazon was out of stock. The unit itself is fairly simple, and all of the components appear easily replaceable. Setting up the rest of the system has been challenging though. I have very fine sand soils and very hard well water, and therefore use a sediment filter and water-softening pre-RO treatment. Even with the unit's diaphragm pump, the permeate pressure after treatment is not high enough for a whole house system. So I have the unit dispensing permeate to 84 gal and 119 gal pressure tanks operating between approx 5 and 25 psi. I also have two 12v 15amp, 5gpm RV diaphragm pumps operating between 40 and 60 psi supplying another 84 gal pressure tank. This setup provides between approx 80 and 100 gals of on demand storage. This creates the capability to take showers, run the dishwasher, and use the sinks at normal residential flows and pressures. When the high pressure tank empties, the twin diaphragm pumps are capable of refilling the 40-60 psi tank during high flow usage. Once the high pressure tank fills, the pressure drop on the low pressure side causes the unit to automatically start and refill the 5-25 psi pressure tanks until the RO unit's cutoff pressure is reached. The limitations of my system include difficulty running the washing machine, which use large volumes of water. I will probably replumb my house to have the cold water for the washing machine running directly off the water-softened well water, as well as the toilets. Additionally, the permeate from all RO systems is acidic, so replumbing is probably necessary at some point if you have copper pipes (I am planning on replumbing with pex pipe). I also have a UV light after the RO for bacteria control. As a side note, tying into existing plumbing, if there is bacteria present in your piping, can result in contamination of the new plumbing. Therefore, you should probably shock chlorinate the entire system at the same time as installation. My experience has been that setting up a whole house RO system is difficult and probably requires professional help unless you have a solid engineering background. The RCS5T unit itself, though, is equal to the RO treatment task in my opinion, and if I had to do things over I would still have bought it. In retrospect, I would have probably used higher voltage, lower amperage diaphragm pumps since finding adequate converters was difficult. I choose the DC diaphragm pumps because they are capable of running dry and don't require priming in the event the 5-25 psi tanks are completely drained. Hopefully this review is helpful to those of you out there trying the same thing since I have had a difficult time finding much information on how to setup such systems. A lot of it has been trial and error, with a few dead ends and a little bit of wasted money, but I feel like I am getting to where I want to be.

I purchased this system for ultra pure water for my 90gal fish tank with weekly 50% water changes and did not have anywhere to store 40+gal through the week as other RO systems take many hours to filter this much water. This system works perfectly, down to 6-8 ppm of TDS and fills my 40gal in about an hour and a half. 10x faster than most RO systems. Also, it fits easily under my wet bar and I plumbed it with the included faucet so we can drink the same whenever we want. I don't need a reservoir for my fish tank needs, but it would probably be better (faster) for the drinking water when using the faucet. The first few seconds of running, the system is passive, using the water pressure from you pipe, but the pump kicks on after a few minutes and powers the system. The flow rate is significantly increased and the TDS drop quickly after the pump kicks on. Testing the water coming from the system, the TDS drop quickly from >100 ppm to <10 ppm in the first minute or less of filtering (my tap is >400 ppm). I bought this R/O system for a water treatment for an ice machine at a church. It arrived in a timely manner but the instructions are very vague on hooking it up. Especially to the electricity. It says it is 220 but just has a two prong plug for 110. I researched and researched till I was crazy. Finally I called customer support ( which by the way there is no number for in the manuals) I found it on the filters. They finally told me it was a regular 110 plug. I don’t know why they tell you it is 220 because it is not. After getting it hooked up and turned on it worked and I left it over night. The next morning I checked it and it would not let water through the solenoid. I called customer support and they sent me a new solenoid. It took about a week to get it. I finally replaced it and still no water. I called customer back and talked to a fella there that told me he would have the original guy “Nick” call me back. It didn’t happen until I wrote a review that made them look bad. Nick called me and said the guy never told him I had called. He is now working at trying to get replacement parts to me. I am trusting that it will be resolved. Thanks to Nick we are working towards success I also ordered the water monitor to know how the treated water was and the fittings are wrong to hook it up. The fittings are for the wrong size lines. Over all I believe the system is going to do the job.
