We purchased this product because our well water was killing our plants, lawn and trees and the pH in the pool was not balancing off, we were told that we need a softener This is the best thing we ever bought. Our well water is so good now you can actually drink it straight from the hose. The odor is gone, the rust is gone and our plants, lawn and trees are thriving again.

Had a plumber install and worked great. No more iron or maganese smell. I put another charcoal filter before then the iron, then the charcoal. I read up that its best in that configuration.

I did a lot searching, and decided to give this unit a try. I have well water and really hate the iron aftertaste we get from the refrigerator water/ice maker. I'm superised that the taste is completely gone after we installed the fitler. It's been over 3 months and water still taste great. We also installed a spindown sediment filter from i spring before this system.

Attn: SeanPurchased this system in 2020 for our off grid cabin. System works great. We have alot of manganese in our well water and this system cleans and clears our water. We do not have power to run a uv filter so we do not drink it. But if it came down to it, I would. It's that clean. Had an issue recently with broken filter housings due to weather. After emailing back and forth with Sean in customer service and a little miscommunication. Sean made good and sent me an entire system for the cost of the replacement filter housings. I deeply appreciate that.

Newly installed system is reducing Manganese from 0.6 mg/L (ppm) to 0.1 mg/L. I had hoped for slightly better removal of Mn. Only time will tell if it continues to do the job. I may report ongoing experience at a later date.The system is relatively easy to install. Directions are very clear. Took my plumber about 2.5 hours to install using copper tubing and fittings. Ispring customer service is excellent. Very available, very cooperative and helpful. Sean was very responsive and did a great job advising.The new standard for Mn in drinking water is 0.3 mg/L or less. Seems like an overly stringent requirement in view of fact Mn is an essential mineral with a minimum daily requirement of about 2.3 mg on label of my multivitamin. A person would have to drink more than 7 liters a day of 0.3 mg/L water to get that daily minimum amount of manganese.

This is a great iron (both types) and carbon filter system. We were quoted $11,000 for a system. We compared our test results to this filter's capabilities and we're so happy! Our water smelled bad (but not like sulfur) and had floating things in it. Our water now is like bottled water. Couldn't be happier!
