We installed the unit 2 weeks ago, and so far it appears to be working as expected. One item of note though is that the ballast beeps once every time water flow occurs. We can see the bulb is working, as the white PEX tubing on the outlet side glows/shows light when the unit is on. It's annoying to hear the ballast beep each time a faucet is turned on, or pressure in the system changes due to running appliances like the dishwasher and clothes washing machines. Giving 4 stars for now, as there's nothing in the literature or item description stating this is expected behavior.

Purchased an ISpring UVF55 whole house UV light system along with an ISpring Reverse Osmosis drinking water filtration system in December of 2018. The system was very easy to install and worked perfectly for more then a year. I followed the maintenance guidelines and replaced the UV light bulb as required. After the bulb was replaced the operating light on the ballast would not light indicating an issue with the ballast. I called ISpring customer support and spoke to Adam who was very knowledgeable in the product. Although the system was more the a year old Adam assured me that a new ballast was on the way at no cost. Thank you Adam as in todays world customer service is very hard to find when products are purchased on line. I would highly recommend ISpring if you are looking for a quality product.

It was shipped fast. Great security for PayPal users. when it came was packed good. I had pulled everything from the box. started working on putting my fittings and all on. then once I had everything ready to go. went to pull the bulb out of the tube and it was broken. have an email to them now I am sure they will fix this issue. I would like to see it. the UV bulb and sleeve on the site for sale. they don't have it listed as of yet. I wanted to order a 2nd set to have on hand when installing just in case. I am told they are working on this. So I am waiting So far everything seems to be well constructed Very happy with this purchase

Installed it along with the whole house water filter. Suppose to kill the bacteria. A lil pricy than I expected but overall is great quality and built

I ordered this product for a "treehouse" rental we have, I wanted to make sure the water was as good and safe as I could, multiple filters and last stage is the UV light. Went oversize for this rental water usage but the price was very reasonable, even for the larger unit. Unit has been in operation continuously for over 2years. Went to turn the treehouse for next guests and there were no lights on the ballast and I could see the UV light was not working. I contacted ISpring through their customer support and very quickly that got back to me saying that if no lights are on that the ballast is bad. What I did not expect was for them to tell me that they would be sending a replacement ballast out immediately. Hey stuff happens, parts fail, but they are making it good. The unit is a good unit, no leaks and solidly made Highly recommend

After nine months, my UVB55 needed a bulb replacement. wrote to iSpring and Nick from consumer service promptly confirmed that the glass sleeve, in addition to the bulb, needed replacement, and that both were covered under warranty. Since I had already purchased the needed replacements, he gladly issued a credit to my account. I was already very satisfied with the overall performance of my my complete home filtration system from iSpring, of which the UVB55 is only a part of. Now knowing first hand that customer service is as good or better than what I had read in the reviews, gives me an additional sense of being in good hands. I would recommend without hesitation, adding a complete home filtration system from iSpring. Companies like iSpring, with employees like Nick in consumer service, do make a difference.We purchased the iSpring UVF55 Whole House system to treat the spring water that we use for domestic water supply at our residence. We have our water tested periodically and the bacteria tests have all been negative since we installed the iSpring system. We are very satisfied with the iSpring UVF55 system. I have contacted support for assistance and iSpring support has been excellent -- Thanks Nick!

Michele at iSpring REALLY helped me out. I'm retired and enjoy offgrid/boondock camping. I made this portable contraption using the iSpring UVF55FS UV filter. Involves a 12v inverter, pre-filter on the pickup, a 12v RV pump, the iSpring UVF55FS, and a finer particulate filter. The UV light runs off the small 12v inverter, I plug in a 12v battery, run a hose to my RV, and can fill my 50g fresh tank in about 10 minutes. The whole thing only draws 6.8amps while running. I bought the iSpring UVF55FS and made this thing just as covid hit and campgrounds closed down everywhere. The other day..... I dropped it. The iSpring UVF55FS is meant to be hard-mounted, not carried around, it shattered the quartz protector sleeve and the UV bulb. Called iSpring, talked to Michele, had my Visa in hand to order another one.....she sent me all new parts for FREE! I'm well outside of any warranty, and who warranties a dropped product anyway? Totally took care of me! Thank you!

I installed the whole house filter system and added this UV system. We immediately could taste, smell and feel the difference in our water. We are on city of Scottsdale AZ municipal water. My wife has been very sick, cancer. We wanted to make sure she has every fighting chance.I researched water systems for two weeks and determined iSpring 123Filter to be the best. Easy install of both products. We installed this in June. Almost a year later and the UV system was flashing a fault and would beep. I figured it just needed cleaning but called iSpring just to make sure. Quick and friendly customer service from Michele, thank you for your help Michele! She said it could need cleaned but let me send you a new bulb and ballast. Got the tracking number the next day. Exceptional customer service and product. We are building a new house and will be back for another system at the first of the year. Thank you again for your system and excellent support.

The product is well-made and easy to install. The only issue is that the new model we received has no control switch as shown on HD website, so the UV will only turn on when the flow sensor detects flow. But we found the sensor is a bit “insensitive” and we have to turn up the faucet more than usual to turn on the light, which is concerning and inconvenient. We contacted Customer Support and Nick (a big shout out here!!) is super knowledgeable and helpful. He heard our concern and requested an old version of ballast with control switch for us. Hopefully we will receive the ballast with control switch soon. We are very thankful to Nick for his effort to ease our concern and we are very pleased with ISpring’s customer support.
