Installed the system today, it works great. Had 223 ppm out of the tap, after filtering, got a reading of 17 ppm. Thats better than most store bought spring water! I used to have to refill a dozen gallon jugs at the grocery store then haul them upstairs every 10 days or so with a bad back. Never again! This product is simple to put together and works every bit as good as they claim. I will recommend this product to all of my friends and family. I also made a stand out of 2x4s and attached the faucet to it with the supplied bracket. Its a stand alone unit I can bring with if/when I move out of my apartment. Great product, thanks iSpring!

I recently purchased the ispring 5 stage reverse osmosis filter system and also upgraded to a 6 stage system for the alkaline and electrolyte benefits. It took a couple of hours to install and had no difficulties following the instructions and suggested videos on you tube. My family and I are very happy with this product.

At 8 hours post install, this seems to be a great system. The situation: I recently moved to my dream house on acreage in the Texas Hill Country. We are on well water here with a softener system. My under counter ice machine, from which I usually take a 5-gallon bucket of ice every day, was producing little more than a gallon or two of ice with the poor quality water at the new home. Research led me to understand that these ice machines need a larger volume of water than most RO systems produce and a higher pressure than most RO systems provide. After researching different systems, I decided this one would fit my needs for a fair price. The downside: I am a very skilled Craftsman with a high level of dexterity and mechanical inclination. I didnt time the installation, but Im assuming it took an hour or two. The system isnt impossibly complex, but the system that arrived was different than both the directions that came with it and the YouTube video. The YouTube video was very informative for sure, but also left a lot to be desired. If youre unable to reverse engineering what the guy is doing in the video and apply it to your specific setup that may look different than his, then I think this will be very difficult to install. The words he used when referring to different filters didnt match the wording that was printed on the filters. More problematic than that was that the connection at the storage tank kept leaking. Dealing with this probably accounted for a quarter to a third of my total install time. After at least five attempts at threading the valve onto the tank just to have it slowly leak when I charged the system, I finally quit using the Teflon tape they sent with the unit and used some professional grade Blue Monster Teflon tape that I own and the problem was solved on the first attempt with that. The upside: The system seems to do a great job at producing larger volumes of water and higher pressures. The quick connect fittings are relatively easy to use. The system came with extra parts so the couple of little fitting pieces that either were missing from the unit or I lost during installation werent a big deal because there were some extras. While the unit is a little disorderly, its also a lot of stuff crammed very efficiently into a compact assembly. It might be a lot for under a sink, but fortunately mine is in the utility room behind the ice machine. The future: I dont trust the number of plastic tubes and small fittings. This is unavoidable as far as I can tell, so its not detracting from the five star rating that I really feel like this product deserves. On the incoming water line, Im going to install a solenoid controlled, normally closed valve. Ill have a switch tied into my home automation systems so it can be turned off remotely. Additionally, Im going to add an array of moisture sensors under the unit and set up a basic ITTT (if this then that) sequence that will automatically shut the water off to this system within 5 seconds of moisture detection. Also, with using a normally closed valve which requires electrical current to remain open, the valve will close automatically in the event of any power interruption so my home will still be protected. With this kind of protection, the most water that could flood my home would be what is held in the systems reservoir tank.Final thoughts: I bought this unit to serve my struggling ice machine. 8 hours after installation of this RO unit, the same ice machine has almost filled its reservoir with crystal clear ice. The RO unit is serving its purpose beautifully! The ice machine is actually producing better looking ice, and faster, than it did on our previous city water supply. Im glad this unit was available for me to purchase and I have no reason to believe that itll be anything but great. I will update this review if my opinion changes.

Installation was straight forward, the instructions were clear. Happy with the quality of product, and water quality to date.

I have been loving my RO system! Easy to setup and a great value for the WQA certification. I have also decided to upgrade to the booster pump model as my well water pressure is between 20-40 and customer service has been great. Water tastes amazing. Would buy again.

No more bottled water for me! Water tastes just as good and its so much more convenient to be able to get pure water right from my kitchen faucet!

This is my second reverse osmosis filter purchase. My first system was purchased nearly 15 years ago for my saltwater fish tanks at 2x the cost of this system and the price of an RO membrane was over $100. Thats alot of money back in 2000! The iSpring system costs less than $400 and is perfect for a family, to provide clean water for drinking and cooking, and will also hook-up with the refrigerators ice maker (no longer need to replace your fridges filter annually). As for water quality, my tap water currently tests out at 250ppm on the TDS meter (which isnt too bad), my bottled water from the supermarket averages 50ppm, but my RO filtered water tests at 20ppm. Installation was pretty much a breeze (especially if you have an extra hole on your sink for a soap dispenser or spray hose); however, one problem people might run into would be that the existing sink hole will be too big for the base of the provided faucet (which by the way is beautiful). I contacted the iSpring customer service about this and was sent a larger faucet base to adapt the new mini faucet to the sink hole (at no cost). If you run into this installation problem, be sure to contact customer service for help. Honestly, I think the larger adapter base shouldve been packaged with the system to start with. Overall, my experience with the RO system installation, operation, and customer service has been very positive. Highly recommended! Note: The entire system flows water through 1/4"; PVC lines with quick-connect fittings (only the connection to the dispenser faucet and to the cold water line uses classic compression nuts). The important thing about quick-connect fittings is that you need to be sure to push the PVC line deep in all the way, then sharply tug out to lock it into the fitting. Then it should be adequately sealed.

Got this to remove fluoride but resulted in great tasting water. Excellent product and highly recommend. Took like 4 hrs to setup but if planned properly should only take 30 mins. Motor noise was bit troubling but padded it with some thermocol and that arrested the noise and vibration. The water leak monitor is an added plus.

Happy with it. You will need to buy the remineralizing filter too though. I could tell without it that my muscles started cramping up from low minerals.
