Weve had this filter for almost six months now and are very happy with it. The installation was straightforward and everything is working well. We live on acreage and get water from a well. Our last filtering system lasted about 10 years with just filters needing replacement. We look forward to having this new system in place and many years of good filtered water ahead.

I purchased this and had installed by a plumber when I renovated my kitchen; I also purchased a water tester to make sure the water is clean. 18 months ago, and now, the water test still comes out between 20~25 ppm, which is pretty clean drinking water level. Theres no smell, and theres no taste - which is what I expect in clean water. For the price, and the quality of product, I recommend this product.

The following is what I needed to buy to connect the filter into my water supply. The filter in and out connections are 1 inch treaded female. My cold water in line is 3/4 inch copper. I needed a 1 inch male to 1 inch PVC. Next comes a 1 inch PVC by 3/4 inch bushing. The bushing has a 3/4 inch female connection. The final piece is a 3/4 inch sharkbite male adapter that connects to the 3/4 inch water lines. You will need two of each for the in and out. Total cost will be $15 to $20 dollars for these parts.

We love having our city water filtered before we use it the less chlorine the better! I was disappointed that the black metal part was bent. We had to heat it and bend it back. This is an item you will need professionally installed. I noticed people in the reviews were confused that there were no directions.

I installed this in my house that is supplied with well water, these filters do an excellent job of clearing up the water and will last a lot longer then the cheap little filters that this replaced. I have a gauge before and after the filters and have about 3 psi pressure drop through the filters when the filters are clean, which is not a noticeable amount. Excellent product, fantastic customer service.

We have been very happy with our system. Everyone comments on how great our water tastes. We have had it for over 3 years now. We moved a year ago and had no problems taking it with us and reinstalling it in our new home. They also have great customer support. We lost our housing wrench in the move, and they sent us a new one free of charge.
