Does the job easy enough. Just have a look at your fridge inlet valve first and do be a bit careful. Old wall shut-off valves dont always shut off fully and some fridges use a water pressure regulator that you shouldnt bypass or it will overfill the ice maker. But Ive been very happy with the water filter and after a home depot run-this will probably work great.
