I had just enough vertical clearance of 17 under the kitchen sink to fit the storage tank, and the filter group in a standing position without using the provided hanging bracket. Ok so I have had this for a little over a month and will tell you it's worth every penny.

It has one more stage than I remember the whirlpool having, but otherwise seems comparable (to the old style whirlpool). Overall a must have system for pure drinking water, a genuine product, could not have asked more.
