My tap water was 270+ ppm according to my tds meter. I began researching different water filter methods and determined that a Reverse Osmosis (RO) system was the best solution. After I installed the filter, it has never gone above 8 ppm and is often 5 or 6 ppm. Nice system!

The taste of the water from this system is a lot better than the regular tap water. All arrived, no missing parts! The Installation Instruction video is hands down the best one I have used in years.

I am thankful every day for my system because it has protected me from potential illness and other health problems that could have been caused by the unclean city water. It's a great price for what you get, installation is pretty easy, and it comes with everything you need.

As for installation, all I can say is that my husband said it was not nearly as difficult as he thought it might be. You don't need to pay anyone unless you just want to. Not sure if a traditional RO system could requires more time. This one- we're super satisfied.

You lose ~3 gallons for every gallon of drinkable filtered water for most reverse osmosis systems. A quick Google search found this to be normal after installing a new ro system. I like this RO500 mainly becasue of its superb pure to waste ratio. Very efficient. Not to mention that it's beautifully designed and has a smart faucet that tells TDS numbers!
