Now that's called filtering. I did test my water and it was tremendously better than before as per hardness.

I replaced my previous ro system with this system and I was able to swap out the system with a minimum of fuss (and two trips to Home Depot to get a T fitting and tubing to supply filtered water to the refrigerator's ice machine and a different brass fitting for the water supply line). Installation is reasonably straightforward and not that tricky (even if you have never done an RO installation before, don't let that intimidate you! Just follow instructions.

I am impressed the the quality of the components and instruction manuals. I tested my tap water against the new filtered water with a digital TDS meter and what a difference! My tap water showed 274 while the filter water showed 12!! Can't believe I was drinking all those junks in my water for so many years!

I was worry about the water pressure but it turns not bad at all. Would advise anyone to get this reverse osmosis system.

The 4 gal receptacle that comes with this unit allowed us to enough fresh water to not buy bottles.

I wish i bought this years ago. Heavy plastic and metal make this a sturdy system.
