This system is great! Was able to install it in an afternoon and have fresh drinking water later that night. I even got a follow up email from ispring a week after delivery confirming that I was able to install the system and had no leaks or other issues.

Easy to install and fitted in nicely. Used daily for all boiling, drinking and rinsing.I wish I had gotten one sooner and am considering upgrading to a seven stage unit to see if it is even better. I am looking for some more unit to install throughout the bathrooms as well.

We ordered this RO system to replace the 10 stage countertop system we have had for the past two years. It is much more complex than the the old one but my husband managed to install it successfully without any leaks. We have had no issues at all. It is quite rewarding to find that the water tastes much better than the previous one. Another good thing is that it doesnt take any counter space. The filter replacement costs about the same for a one year replacement.

My husband installed this system and he said its pretty easy to install. The youtube video was super helpful. We love the stainless steel faucet it came with. The water taste so much better than the fridge water we were using. This system is also not ridiculously expensive like some of the others. We love it!

It was a breeze installing this thing under my counter following the excellently written instructions. Read it a couple of times and you will have no problems and no leaks. Even better, it has a DIY video to show you step by step. What makes this unit more special than the others are the nice looking faucet, transparent first stage and standard filter cartridges at a low cost. I have used two reverse osmosis systems in the past and this one has the most complete configuration. I would pay a premium for this system but luckily it is actually less expensive than others. I am satisfied with this purchase and will talk about it with families and friends in the holiday gatherings.

This system was an easy install to replace a system that died. The parts, and extra parts, made adapting to the old systems fittings and faucet easy. It seems like a higher quality system than those sold in big box stores. At times the instructions were a little unclear, but between the written instructions and the online videos it could be figured out. The leak alarm was a nice feature, Ive always been concerned about press-on fittings under a sink leaking. Hopefully this system will have a long and uneventful life!

Good system, knocked my water down to 2ppm, from 33ppm city water. The water feed valve leaks between the plastic and metal (pencil is pointing to location in attached photo). I see other people have this same issue. I had to buy a replacement valve. Everything else worked fine, it gets 4 stars because the included valve leaks.

I had purchased and installed a couple system that I bought from Home Depot previously. I was a little apprehensive about ordering this system online, but was interested in seeing how this measured up with the lower-end systems that I had used in the past. The video was very helpful! Upon opening the box, I saw a plethora of tubes and connectors, and instead of just jumping into installation, I took the time to watch the video and it was much less daunting. From start to finish, I did this in less than one hour. The biggest issue for me was that my dishwasher and garbage disposal didnt leave any room to on the sink drain pipe. I ended up installing the waste water tube to my dishwasher tubing, which worked just as well. The clips made everything really easy to install, and now Im a fan of them. They made installation go so fast. This unit produces more water than we typically need for our family, so we have not run out. But it works rather quickly and in less than an hour of installation, we got almost a gallon of water.

Had the unit for about 7 months now, and just completed the first filter change ( 3 of 5 filters ), so I can deliver and informed review by now. I bought the unit for multiple purposes: Drinking water, Aquarium & Plant use, deep cycle battery maintenance, and misc other uses where pure water is beneficial. The water quality in my area is good, but has a high mineral content. My home is a bit older, and the water pressure at the kitchen sink leaves a bit to be desired, so I went with the electric pump assisted unit, I would recommend this unless you have _very_ high water pressure, as it will reduce the amount of waste water and potentially extend the life of the RO membrane.Installation was really pretty simple, and the documentation is clear. Took me a moment to get my head around how the pressurized storage tank works as it has only one line leading into it, which serves as both input and output. The tubing is all color coded and easy to work with; Im reasonably handy, but plumbing is definitely not my forte, but from unboxing until first water was about 2 hours, which included cleaning under the sink and removing an old instant hot water system. ( Which failed to to calcium build up, though if fed from this filter would probably still be working )That did mean that I had a pre-drilled hole in the sink for the faucet, as well as a below sink GFCI outlet. If not, drilling the hole for the faucet could be a bit of a chore, depending on your sink. The unit does require a fair amount of space, so wherever you are installing check the dimensions and be sure you have enough space for the unit and to reach in and work, youll need access to change the filters periodically as well, which involves using a plastic wrench on the filter holders.I hung it on the side of the cabinet but left lots of play in the hoses so I could lift it off and pull it out into the open to change the filters. I also put a board under the filters to take some strain off the frame.TDS readings with a cheap tester run from 170-200 on my tap water, bounce around from 2-5 after it comes out of this filter, where they were always over 100 out of my refrigerator with its built-in filter.I did connect my refrigerator after the initial install, and you can tell the difference in the water and the ice both. The pump is pretty quiet, the main sound is the waste water in the drain, which is minimal. The filter cans are a standard size and fit, so alternative branded filters can probably be used, but no real reason since the iSpring ones seem to be a good quality at a reasonable price. But if you are worried about iSpring not being around in 5 years and being stuck with an unusual system, dont be, its all modular and standardized. If I had an negatives, it would be that the frame could use some stiffeners on the corners so it doesnt flex under the weight of the water filled filter canisters. If I have some spare time, I might try to design and print some plastic corner braces for it, but its not a huge deal. Its also impossible to change the filters w/o water going everywhere. This isnt unique to iSpring or this model, theres just generally no way to drain the water form the filter cans, so some is going to spill out as you detach them. So just fine a pail or tub that can sit under the unit when you change it. Perhaps a drain plug in the bottom of them would let one drain it in a controlled fashion, but that might be overkill!
