I have liver issues and Im not a doctor so take this with a grain of salt.If I take certain medicines or massive doses of certain vitamins I will get liver pain. I am a walking laboratory for anything that may be causing harm to your liver (as small as that may be). For whatever reason, the Alkaline filter on this unit causes me liver pain. I cant say why but it definitely does. I noticed it after the first glass. It took me 3 days to put two and two together.When I connected the dots I removed it. Drank water and nothing. I did this for a few more days and nothing. I then put the filter back on and sure enough liver pain returned after the first glass. Whats this mean to you? I have no idea. Of course, I am leaving mine off. I only put this here as a potential warning for those that may have liver issues as well. You may experience the same pains if your condition is the same as mine. For anyone that does not have liver issues will this hurt you? No, it definitely wont. I do think you have to ask yourself though, do you really want your water source to actually tax your liver even as small as that might be? I mean its water.Ironically I can drink my local tap water with no such pain. I got this to be extra healthy.....

I bought this system around Christmas and my family absolutely loves it... Brought my TDS from 240 down to under 10... The water tastes amazing, wish I would have done this years ago... We also bought these glass water bottles on Amazon so we can take our own bottled water with us, "Zulu Atlas Glass Water Bottle with Flip Lid, Grey, 20 oz"...I was going to install the system under my sink but we like having the storage there so I mounted the unit just below the kitchen sink on the basement wall, worked out perfectly. Installed a small shelf for the tank, Im enclosing a picture.I had a couple of questions and spoke to Nick at iSpring, he was most helpful... great customer service!Dont forget to get the ice maker kit, very nice to have RO water in the refrigerator, ice and water dispenser..To avoid confusion, the water pressure gauge shown in my picture is something I added, its available on Amazon...I cant recommend this system enough, just buy it!!!!

Installed out ispring system in a new home with well water. The system has worked great and our drinking water tastes great (thanks Nick!). Fits right in the cabinet over our fridge!

This thing leaks everything. For every 1 gallon of drinking water we get, another 3 gallon are leaked from the fittings, tubings and housings.
