Amazing product. At first its a little daunting to assemble and install, but the end result is totally worth it. This took our tap water from about 160ppm solids down to 20ppm. Superb customer service as well. I had an issue after I first got this installed, as my ppm had only been reduced to about 80ppm. Turns out, I had installed the RO membrane incorrectly and it had bent the tip of it that inserts into the housing. So half the water coming through the RO tap was filtered through the membrane, and half of it was not. Typically, a customer screw-up would not be entitled to a warranty replacement, but these guys shipped me a brand new RO membrane for no charge! And FWIW, I ended up taking my RO membrane out of the housing, and with a needle-nose pliers I was able to sort of bend the tip back to its normal form, at least good enough to get 20ppm water. So, with a brand new, non-compromised membrane tip, I imagine this system would even get lower than 20ppm. If you are thinking of getting an RO system, get this one. Just make sure you know what you are doing if you do it yourself. I had to bore a hole into my granite countertop for the tap, which was pretty nerve wracking. Exercise caution if you are doing that. Just get a diamond-tipped mason drill bit, some plumbers putty, a small piece of duct tape, and some water, and youre good to go. Just make sure that you start the cut at a 45 degree angle and slowly move it vertical. All kinds of youtube videos on how to bore a hole in granite, but stay away from the ones that dont use the water reservoir or the ones that start the drilling from the vertical position. If you start vertical, its nearly impossible to keep the drill steady and make a clean cut and the bit will likely jump all over your counter top.

We have had the unit for a year and it continues to operate efficiently and trouble free. We have had RO units for about 24 years and this is by far the best and most convenient. Our last unit, made by another company, had a problem handling the water pressure in our prior house. Unless I kept the feed valve barely opened it would leak profusely from the bottom of the faucet. We moved so I had the opportunity to purchase a new RO unit. I researched what was available and selected this one. We have not been disappointed The iSpring customer service has been great too. I wanted to get everything set to install the day after we moved in and, since the builder had not yet drilled the hole in the granite for the RO faucet I had to rely on the builders information regarding how thick the granite and backing plywood would be. From what the builder said, the faucet was not going to have enough threads below the hole so I called iSpring and they hooked me up with a threaded extension kit for a very reasonable price. The guy was very patient coming to that point since we had to work out the issue and possible solutions over the phone. I have dealt with numerous customer service reps over the years and the iSpring fellow was the most knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly that I have encountered. I wanted to provide a review based on a longer-term perspective. I am still very happy with the unit.

The installation went smoothly and took a little longer than expected, but then again, I have never done this before. There was at least one minor hiccup and that was due to a missing Feed Water Valve that tech support readily and quickly replaced. I am now waiting to contact tech support again for what appears to be a non-operational UVC-Ballast. There appears to be two indicator lights on there to inform you whether or not the UVC-Ballast is functional when water is detected flowing through it. However, I have never seen any of the indicator lights turn on while water was flowing.A few suggestions prior to tackling the installation of this product on your own.1. Make note of the dimensions to ensure proper fit: System Dimensions: 14.5w x 7d x 19h2. Read the directions, read directions, read directions (I actually searched and downloaded a PDF version prior to arrival)3. Watch the recommended YouTube videos and if possible, have it on the ready to watch while installing. Any confusion that some may have experienced with the written instructions should be eliminated after watching the videos at least a couple of times.4. Lay out all of the parts to make sure they are all there. The system comes nearly fully assembled and the pictures of the parts come in handy, however, I would prefer an actual listing along with the pictures. Nevertheless, the pictures tell you almost exactly what is there (spares state that they vary).5. Decide where your RO system will go and that includes the tank. Fortunately, I had enough space and I was able to construct something to hold the system in place that will also allow me to remove the filters in place or remove the entire system out at once (leaving the tank).6. There is no need to hook up the RO faucet if you plan on directly connecting to a water cooler or refrigerator. That is what I did. However, keep in mind that you need to flush the system prior to first use and therefore you should keep the line that will dispense the clean water (RO water) handy and with at least one valve on the end of it to stop the flow of water.7. When you do bleed the line for the first time, you may have to turn on the pump for that to work. I did. The instructions state not to turn it on. However, nothing was coming out and when I did turn on the pump, water began to very slowly trickle out. I let mine sit for at least 30 minutes before following the next steps in System Startup. I had some apprehension at first, but when the tank was connected, the flow was more acceptable. (Sorry no flow rate meters were attached). My TDS Monitor readings were as follows:Input: 315 to 317Output of RO: 15 to 17.This is the TDS Monitor I am using: HM Digital DM-1 In-Line Dual TDS Monitorhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EHAZGW/ref=od_aui_detailpages02?ie=UTF8&psc=1If I had to do it again, I would go with the iSpring RCS5T 500 GPD Commercial Grade (https://www.amazon.com/iSpring-RCS5T-Commercial-Tankless-Reverse/dp/B00PCRSD7I/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_sims?ie=UTF8). This unit comes without a tank, but it does have the frame. That would have been a real time saver and I do value my time!

A bit dissapointed. Valve that red hose connects too leaks where it threads into the filter housing. I start out with 800ppm tap water and the final product is over 350ppm.. Should be much lower for a filter like this. I will contact support and post my results.

System is really simple to setup, they give you everything you need. My old system did not need power so we had to install that in, other than that the water tasted great.

System was easier to install than I thought ... although takes a lot of room up under cupboard ( I ended up installing in crawl space under kitchen sink

Great system. Faucet is especially nice. Wish it had better hoses as I worry the plastic lines will eventually break but dont know a system that doesnt use them. I bought a TDS meter and there is a huge and obvious difference between the city tap and the filtered water.
