This filter works great! I am very pleased with the system. We moved into this house for 18 months and the water was so bad that we had water delivered by Sierra Springs. What a hassle! Holidays messed up the delivery schedule. If the driver was on vacation, then the substitute driver didn't have the sense to find the empty bottles outside under the table. Hold time was about 20 minutes to be able to speak to anyone when I had a billing issue. But we had no choice until we could install the iSpring system in our house. We could not wait to get into our new house. We told the builder that we would select and purchase the water filter system that we wanted. It was a dream! The water from our iSpring system was so good that I was happy to cancel the water delivery subscription. I had to threaten them to come pick up the dispenser! And talk about cheaper! The replacement filters will be less than my monthly water bill was with delivery! I guess you can see that I am very pleased with the system. I haven't had any problems with the system. Keep up the good work!

Have not installed this filter system yet; but have done some testing to see if the filter housings impart a taste to stored water, thereby indicating chemicals leaching from the plastic (the company does not say or publish the type of plastic used; but it is most probably Polycarbonate). One of the housing containers was half-filled with filtered water and placed in the sun, with a covering over the top. After several days of sun exposure, it was removed from the sunlit area and allowed to cool to room temperature for several hours. A taste comparison was then done between the water stored in the container and a sample from the filtered water source. Only the most minimal taste difference between the two samples was detected, and part of that had to do with the temperature difference of the two samples. Tho obviously not a test which totally rules out the presence of undesirable leachate, it does give indication of a good quality product. Because activated carbon greatly removes Bisphenol-A and a few other leachates from water, there should be little or no undesirable chemicals coming from this filter system. On other fronts, this filter system uses carbon block filter cartridges instead of the granular carbon used in less expensive cartridges.

Great system, fairly easy to install and the water tastes good. Ive installed it for a week now, there are no leaks so far, and every part is working well. The instruction says at least 15 rounds of taflon tape on each thread and hand tight is enough, but it still resulted in a slow leak even with plenty layers of teflon tape, so I had to tighten it a bit more with a wrench.
