The water in new mexico is so bad they tell you not to drink it. I put the unit free-standing into one side of sink base. Works great.

I suggest that you do 2-3 times of tank flush. There will be some air bubbles in the water first coming out of the faucet after installation. That's normal. They will be gone soon.

Our coffee tastes great with this water and our ice cubes are so clear you can almost see through them. We love this! Our PPM went from 350+ to around 16, and it tastes like bottled water! We haven't had an issue of running out either, and it feeds our freezer ice maker.

We love the convenience and no more fillings of water containers. Easy install i had no issues just needed to pick up a couple pieces to hook up my ice maker and dispenser on the fridge i was getting 420-470ppm before after a day of use (and a couple purges) the water comes out from 11-28 ppm i have read others get even lower but my city drinks from a swamp haha.

I purchased this item and a TDS meter (only way to tell if its working and when to change filters) i was able to set it up the same day but it took a few hours. There were a few leaks when turning it on for the first time, but those were my own fault for not connecting the tubes deep enough. Corrected that and everything works fine.
