I installed my system in the basement which presented a few challenges. Two of which were low incoming water pressure and, also the need to add an on-demand pump to get the water up to both the sink faucet and refrigerator with enough volume and pressure. I relied heavily on the iSpring Customer Support staff who provided outstanding technical support as well as endless patience in answering my many questions. The system is now fully installed and functioning perfectly, delivering crystal clear water that tastes exceptionally good.

This product was somewhat easy but tricky to assemble, it comes with user manual which well descriptive but I wish if they would have provided a link of YouTube video on how to install. I didn't read the instructions properly and end up damaging all the O-Rings provided for membrane. I then contacted the helpline number talked with company rep Nick he was really nice and helpful. He instantly agreed to send me the additional O-Rings with all postage paid which means company backs their product with very well after sale service support. But noticed few improvement areas too... link in my house, I have pull stop box installed which is now a standard everywhere but this product comes with old feed water adapter which does not fit in pull-stop-box as both ends are male. Therefore, I had to buy 3/8 In and 1/2 out supply line + 3/8 In X 1/2 In MPT Lead-Free Brass Compression Adapter to make it compatible which is additional expense of approx. $17.00. Also, after installing this product I noticed it keeps on Dripping I checked the knob it was all the way closed. Please refer to attached photos if that helps someone during installation. What I like? - After Sales Service + Water Quality What I dislike? - Incompatible feed adapter, Faucet only comes in Steel color (I was looking for oil rubber color) + Dripping Faucet

bought this system because although I have orlando city water I like to take responsibility into my own hands when possible and thanks to Ispring I'm able to do that. I loved it so much I bought it as a gift to my sister who has well water. Nonetheless the system is made to handle well water. As far as the taste of the water and TDS, the water tastes great even after owning it 5 months now and nearing a filter change. The TDS still measures low as bottled water. This undersink filter system has changed my life and I now drink more water because of it. We are made of 70% water after all. With all of that being said I did find a con which I didn't really like but finding the solution is a phone call away. It was with the installation diagrams and instructions having to do with the alkaline additive and the sterilizer connection. One contradicted the other. After some research I figured it out Overall I really recommend this system. It just performs.

After a year of procrastination I finally have installed this RO system. It is working well at this point. I have only modest water pressure (35psi) here so have used an Aquatec ERP 500 permeate pump to assist the RO membrane in maintaining a workable water flow. You can see this gadget as a black cylinder in the photo below. With the permeate pump the output water pressure is exactly the same as the input pressure. And, no automatic shutoff valve is required as the permeate pump just quits working when the output pressure reaches the same as the input. And no brine water flows at this point. Our well water TDS measures at about 450 and the product water measures at about 50 to 60. I did learn though that the TDS from the first pint or so of water will measure somewhat higher (about 90) due to the alkaline remineralization filter. I had a number of questions about the performance and used iSprings online customer support several times and received timely and knowledgeable help from Francis S. I wondered how one could know if the UV lamp was actually on when drawing water and Francis told me to take a look in the dark. Good idea. The two plastic fittings glowed enough to confirm the lamp was working. You can see from the photo that this system is installed just outside our kitchen window as I did not want to clutter under the sink any more than it already is. I will build a cabinet around the system to finish the project off. Hope this helps - - Paul

Owned and used for 1 year! Filters our drinking water and ice cube for the fridge. With a little DIY background the setup and service is easy. Initially it took way longer than the manual said to get rid of the “new tank taste” (rubber diaphragm in tanks taste just like they sound). For future service, I put a push-connect ball valve on inlet water line (green tube), so I wouldn’t wear out my old gate valve under the sink ($5 at the depot).Water feels lighter, tastes great and have had no leaks. Even the ice cubes are noticeably better- they don’t freeze together!Only complaint would be that there’s no replacement guide for the UV lamp. For this, you just pull rubber cap off the end of the UV filter tube (where the wires go in), and just pop the new light in. Easy easy, but there aren’t any instructions. Attached is a picture of the sediment filter we just replaced. We’re on city water, but there’s still plenty of things you don’t want to drink in it.Oh, and DO NOT lose the filter wrench! It does not come with the replacement filter kits! Put it back in the bag with the extra parts and file it away.Good little water filter- makes me want to add a whole home sediment/UV filter

I just bought, and had installed, the RCC7-AK-UV. The plumber stated that something was wrong with the UV monitor module and that I needed to contact the company. I registered the RO system and within a couple hours I received a response from Nick. I sent a reply stating the above and before I knew it Nick was calling me. He stated what the most common issue is and that's the UV water sensor was put in backwards. I checked it and sure enough it was put in incorrectly. I turned the switch around and the green light on the UV monitor came on and I could see UV light at one end of the UV tube! It was fixed in a matter of minutes!! Thanks Nick from iSprings Water Systems, LLC!!!

This system was very easy to install and is the best value I have found compared to other brands out there. Water had a taste to it that I think it's from the UV light, but at least I know the system is working like it should.

My tap water runs approximately between 400-500 PPM while filtered water is 26PPM, so I am happy with purifying what seems to be very contaminated water.
