One of the best DYI projects I've done!. Mounted unit in basement below the kitchen. John Guest fittings are phenomenal! But most of all, my wife, who will NOT drink city tap water, loves the "flavor"! We have it connected to our frig and even our ice is crystal clear! No more chasing after bottled water or bags if ice!

Like the headline says, I was quoted $3k for a RO system at Culligan. My wife has Menieres disease so we need to get all the sodium we can out of our water as she drinks over a gallon a day. Using the TDS meter i bought here on Amazon for $15, our water was measuring around 650ppm before i installed the iSpring, so we had a long ways to go! After the system was installed, we are down between 20-50ppm !!! Now we can stop buying all that $$$ bottle water for my wife!I installed the system in my basement where my hose splits off the plumbing to go to our refrigerator. We just had new granite installed and didn't have a RO facuet hole, so we just ran it to the fridge only. I mounted the 6 filters to the basement wall and installed a rack to hold the pressure tank. It took maybe 30min to drill into the concrete and get everything hung and assembled. Very easy to install. The reason for the 4 stars on instruction quality is there is a typo when it comes to the part about installing the RO cartridge. It tells you to remove the WHITE hose before taking the RO canister cap off...the hose there is actually RED. Luckily they have visuals to show the correct color, but it could throw some people for a loop. The reason for the 4 stars on the install is that i had a few of the quick connects pop off the filter canisters when i pressurized the system. For some reason they didn't install the quick connect locking clips where the hoses go into the filter canisters. Fortunately they include a ton of spare parts, particularly clips. So i went through the entire system and installed a locking clip at every connection and that solved the problem. When flushing out the first 3 filters, i went through approximately 10 gallons of water before it finally ran clear. It felt it like was never going to end, but it finally did! Once i hooked up the remaining 3 filters i only had to run about another gallon through until all 6 filters were producing clear water. You will have to scrap another 2-3 gallons when your instructed to fill the pressure tank with water and discard all of it after the first emptying of it. I did all of the flushing offline of my fridge using the faucet they provided. Once everything was good to go, i disconnected their faucet and hooked up the line to my fridge. ****Remember to either discard your fridge filter or purchase a bypass like i had to for my Frigidaire***

we would definitely recommend this product. here are few things that I have to figure out. check your water pressure if it is below 40 psi the you would need the same filter system but with a pump which it I think $50 more if presure is more then 70 or 80 psi then you will need a presure regulator to bring it down below. our water presure is 60 psi so we did not need anything else. we do not have a water softner on to the cold sink faucet and water in our area is very hard but this filter system worked well the only down side will be that we have to change filters more frequently. installation was a breeze. I had few questions so called the customer service left a voice mail and they returned my call the next day and were very helpful. tip: check the system once every few days for leaks as you can see in picture I had a leak which I have to figure out why

This was my first RO system. I did a lot of research and found that this brand (ispring) and model offered the best value, options and best reviews. It was easy to install and runs great. I love the fact that I have not bought one case of bottled water since I installed it on 9/5/2017. So far so good and very happy with the purchase, definitely will buy this brand again for my next house. Do yourself a favor and always go for the bigger model, I have two people in my household and I bought a 75GPD model and it has been great.

Upon research seeing great reviews on Home Depot - I decided to purchase this LittleWell 6-Stage 75 GPD Reverse Osmosis Alkaline Mineral Water Filter with Brushed Nickel Faucet and Clear Housing for my household. I have had this system for almost two months now. The installation was okay, it took me roughly two hours and a half to install. The instructions and video were a little off but I managed to figure it out. What I like about this system is there is pH in the water. Originally measured pH at 8 after one week. But now, averages out to be 7.5 pH. Hopefully in a few months, the pH will still be relatively high. Overall - A great system for drinking at home. This system is very convenient as you have drinkable water at home! You do not have to go to the store and refill water.

We have been buying bottled water for drinking because our water here tasted wired and has lots of calcium. It’s very hard water we have in our city. I’m very happy of the quality of water I get out of it. Plus I’ve saved a lot of money. I think it’s the best investment so far.

First the pros... water tastes great. City water tested at 227 ppm which this system brought down to 20 ppm. The bottled water reading with the same tester came out 21 ppm. So it's better or very close to bottled water. The set-up was easy and straight forward. It took me two hours but that's because of a leak. Details in the cons. the stainless steel faucet is of good quality and matches well with my kitchen faucet. The reservoir tank is huge and water pressure coming out of the faucet is great. I researched tons of RO systems before deciding on this one because I knew my family can't handle lower water pressure and they would grab the bottled water instead. So I was very happy to see nice water stream coming out the faucet when tank was engaged. Cons: The reservior is huge. It took up lot of space from my under the sink cabinet. The tank and system had to be placed on opposite sides to fit . I bought the system brand new from lowes, however the RO capsule had water in it when I opened it to put in the membrane. The o-rings on the carbon filter and sediment filter were damaged and they leaked profusely when I tried to flush the system. Seems lowe's sent me a customer return. It is fine after I replaced the o-rings. Not bothering to exchange since I have installed it already. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

We bought this because we have really hard municipal water and with our third baby on the way wanted to make sure we had filtered water not just for bottles but for cooking, tea, coffee, etc. This system was affordable, we had a plumber install and it was fairly easy to change the filters (there is a thorough how to video online that boosted my confidence). The connections are "quick connect" so you don't really need extra tools. A strap wrench is REALLY helpful for filter change outs, but also useful for other stuff around the house - so worth the investment.Suggestions - write the date you need to change each filter ON THE FILTER with a sharpie and make a calendar note - they vary in replacement frequency. It'd be awesome if iSpring put the avg. filter life range on the filters. There is a 7-stage model with UV filtration, but it requires power under your sink - so check that first before you but and have a plumber at your house :)For service - Nick on their customer service team was really helpful, he answered my questions quickly!

We recently bought a house in Florida that had well water. The well had an outside salt filtration system, but it still did not taste good, and it smelled like sulphur. I love water, but I did not want to buy bottled water because I don't like the taste of it. I checked into the osmosis system after my vet told me about them. I chose the ISPRING 6-stage system, and I am very pleased with it. No more smell, and it tastes great. One reason I chose this one is because our hardware in our kitchen is brushed nickel, and ISPRING systems come with the brushed nickel faucet. Otherwise, I would have had to buy a separate faucet that cost around $40. One strange thing happened. We have to use less coffee to make coffee. It taste a lot stronger with the osmosis water. So, we are saving money on coffee, and we drink a lot of coffee. One bad thing about the system is it is rather confusing putting it together, but probably all the brands are similar installing them. I totally recommend the installer watch the video ISpring has on YouTube WHILE doing the installation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDhC9XMKLPA One thing to be aware of is tightening the top down on the big water tank. My husband was afraid of over-tightening it . A few days later after installation I noticed a little water in the cabinet, but there was no harm because we had put a tray under the tank. My husband tightened it a little more, and everything was OK. Keep an eye on that after you install it to make sure it is tightened enough but over-tighten it. We separated our system and put the big tank in the cabinet next to the sink cabinet. That gave us more room under the sink. It was simple to do, just drill a large enough hole at the top of the cabinet to fit the water tube through. We also bought one of the hose kits to connect to the refrigerator water line. Now, we don't have to buy anyone filters for the refrigerator because the water is already completely clean by the time it gets there.
