I really like this purchase. I have designed a water filtration system that I am very proud of and have seen the results from the use of this product. I feel extremely confident with this product and love the SS look and feel of this product. The install was very easy, shipping was fast, and accurately described on the site. My bacteria count was 206 on a range of 0-250, and this was able to bring it down below the limit of 10. NICE!!! Take your time on installation. I already had a filter in line with my drinking water so that made it easier. I preferred the horizontal mounting so I had to cut a short section of PVC pipe (1.5" pipe, I think) and screw that inside the cupboard. Of course I placed a 1/4" piece of plywood in between the PVC and the cupboard wall so the mounting clip was able to snap all the way around the pipe.

It doesnt change the taste of the water. But I have peace of mind that my family is safe from harmful bacteria or germs. I added this on to an existing RO system. Installation was easy. The ballast was defective after the first month of use, but customer service was quick to fix the problem. Thanks iSpring!

I installed this ahead of the ice maker/water dispenser on our fridge. I mounted it under a cabinet above the counter next to the fridge. I wanted it to be visible so I could see if it is in fact turning on when we draw water. The light is visible as a blue glow through the plastic fittings. The flow switch works flawlessly. Installation was easy with the push-in fittings. I installed a filter ahead of this unit to be sure the bacteria have no particulates to hide behind.

This product works as expected: when the water flows, the UV light and the flow switch turn on with a green light indicator on. But after I installed it to my filter system, the input to the flow switch leaks right away no matter now I push/pull the tube. It is slowly leaked like one drop every minute. I cant find any replacement for the fs-7 flow control switch. Beside, the switch is sealed for replacement. Basically need to buy a new whole system.

does a fine job so long as youre not a water-borne microbe. If you are a microbe you probably cant read this, so it wont matter when it kills you. It does make a strange weepy noise when turning off, or maybe thats the microbes crying. Well built piece of machinery. The bulb is very fragile.

Works as intended. Flow switch is a nice feature as the water does not come out hot after not being used for a while like units without the switch.
