We purchased this RO system to replace our GE Merlin system. The new system works very well. The pump was a convincing feature as it maintains a steady water flow compensating for uneven water line pressure. The RO system is used for drinking water as well as the ice maker in our refrigerator (ICEKkit). Product support is very good (responsive) ... we had a question regarding the water pressure meter (a nice feature). The installation instructions are weak (hence 4 stars instead of 5). The instructions indicate a filter tightening in once case as "clockwise" when in fact a "counter-clockwise" rotation is required and in another case (RO membrane), no direction is specified. Since the filter came "assembled", it required trial and error to determine how to loosen (loosen = counter-clockwise, tighten = clockwise). Given filter installation is a large part of the install process, the instructions should be more clear. We were unable to use the water feed adapter supplied (due to our plumbing situation, not the product). We needed to connect to a 3/8 compression fitting water line, so we purchased the John Guest Speedfit PSEI6012U9P Female Connector x 3/8" Compression Push-to-Connect part which worked very well. Overall ... after 2 months of use ... we are happy with the product.
