Let me start by saying this is an independent, uncompensated review. Our well water has a wonderful taste, but it is also very hard and left lots of scale on our dishes, clothing and appliances. Because the water is so good, we didn't want to add a softening system but needed to do something to eliminate the nasty build-up. We decided to give this Electronic Descaler a try but didn't have high hopes. Wow, what a pleasant surprise! The very next day after installation I noticed that our soap and shampoo lathered much better. A few days later we noticed that our glasses and kitchen utensils were looking cleaner and the coffee pot didn't have as much build-up as it had previously. We have now had this in place for almost 4 weeks and could not be happier with the product!! Our drinkware is clear again, the clothes come out of the laundry feeling softer, I could go on and on. We have been recommending this to all of our family and friends, and I recommend it to you!

I bought two of these in July 2020. I placed one just before going into the hot water heater the other was place just as the pipe enters the home about a fifty foot run to the hot water heater from entering the house. The hardest thing about installing this was wrapping the wires around the pipe. I definitely have seen a real improvement. I wish I had take before pictures. It has almost completely eliminated scaling on all surfaces. All I get now are some water spots. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THIS PRODUCT.

It's not perfect. It is not a replacement for a full water softening system. I have a small house. Two floors but only a total of 1400 sq ft. It did reduce the amount of buildup from the hard water but did not eliminate it. This may be due to my home having harder water than I think it does. It does not alter the flavor of the water at all. For the cost, it might be worth to at least try before installing a full water softening system but don't expect miracles.

Used to be every 12 to 18 months I’d be taking shower & sink nozzles apart to soak them in vinegar and toothbrush the scale off them. Installed this about 3 years ago. The only hard part was installing outdoor socket within reach. Zero scale problems so far.

I bought this to deal with the hard build up on the faucets and toilets, I was a bit skeptical but sure enough around 3 weeks just like the manual states it became a breeze to clean off the build up. What used to take constant scrubbing to bearly remove it, now takes a few wipes. I have not seen any new build up either. Definitely recommend.

It actually seems to work. I've seen the scale disappear from all my fixtures little by little as soon as I started using this. It's been months but everything is much better than before.
