Drain pipe water will stop after the tank is filled. Amazing water filter and the water taste so good better then bottle water! Couldn't be any happier.

It was installed in utility room in the basement of our house and supplies water to a drinking faucet and two different refrigerators for making ice. Installation took me about 2 hours and another 4-6 hours to flush out the first 2 full tanks. Never had to hire a plumber, the instruction manual was very helpful. 5 stars to ispring

Other buyers all talked about the great taste of filterer water. I want to add that the components included are thoughtful. The company gives you a wrench so it's easy to open the housings when it's time to change filters.

Water quality from the unit is, I would say better than bottled water. Makes Texas well water taste like Oregon spring water, I have lived both places and saves from buying bottled water, easy install.

Instead of under the sink I mounted the system in my basement directly under my kitchen.We are now drinking more water than before.
