My family went from using eight to ten packs of bottled water each month to only using one. At approximately $4 for a 35 pack plus five cents per bottle thats about $5.75 per pack. Multiplied by eight packs you get $46 per month on water. Within six months the unit will have paid for itself, and the cost of the replacement filter cartridges needed at that point will be recovered even more quickly. Pro tip: when you push the hoses in, they go a certain distance and stop. Dont be fooled! Apply a little more pressure and keep pushing until they are actually in all the way. Im an idiot. Not in general, but when it comes to installing things or anything remotely handyman-like. Im like the guy from Home Improvement, but I skip the part where I try to make things have more power and go straight to screwing everything up. Even with a YouTube video, which in theory would make things so simple that a lobotomized monkey could figure it out, I still managed to break more than one part of the filter. But I called the company and they cheerfully and promptly replaced them, never once stating or implying that I couldnt find my butt with both hands and a map. Once the filter was finally installed it worked great. The dispenser faucet thingy (Im pretty sure thats the actual name for it) is so convenient. When I want gross polluted water I use the regular faucet, and when I want clear, clean water, I just use the aforementioned dispenser faucet thingy. I went from drinking tap water (because Im not worth 17 bucks a day for bottled water) which measured 185-200 TDS, to now drinking water that reads around 13 TDS. And the taste is so much better. I filled my glass from the tap out of habit the other day and did that Jim Carey from Dumb and Dumber wretch gag. I dont know how I used to drink that stuff. And the ice cubes are the coolest thing since motion-activated toilet-flushing. I never knew ice cubes were supposed to be clear. You can buy an attachment that will feed directly into your refrigerators ice maker, but with my refrigerator being on the opposite side of the room I just use ice trays like some kind of freaking caveman. Completely worth it though. The upfront cost of this unit is reasonable and will save a lot of money in the long run in addition to providing clean, convenient water for my family and me.

Arrived in good order and fairly easy to hook up. I will make a couple of points that is not clearly written in the instructions. One being that you need to push the colored lines all the way into the female end until you feel it "set" into place. This will eliminate any hose leaks once you turn the water on. Second would be to make sure the elbow connections from filters 1,2, and 3 are tight prior to setting up anything. In my set up I had to separate the number 1 filter by removing the small black box (power for motor) then unscrew the 4 set screws and replace the elbow joint as it was leaking substantially after turning on the water. Taking these steps prior will save you a mess and aggravation. Now the unit itself is wonderful and water quality prior to set up was 206 ppm and after we are at 40 ppm. This is a significant reduction in harmful pollutants in our water supply. So the filters are doing their job and we are once again off the store bought bottled water. Installation took me about 2 hours from start to finish and I also had to rerun the line to the fridge/ice maker. Overall easy to install and would recommend this unit. If you have any question on your water pressure I would highly recommend getting the this model. I was on the fence due to the added increase in price but the pump has been used since I plugged it in answering my question whether I had enough pressure already or not. These systems need plenty of pressure to operate accordingly so if you have low pressure make the correct choice. Good luck and enjoy a glass of clean water. :-)

We recently purchased this system and are very happy with it! My husband installed it himself, he is not a plumber but very handy. We are on a well and were never able to get much filtered water with our last system and when we were taking water our refrigerator was not able to make ice. With this system we not only have more water than we need but are making ice cubes as well! We love it!

I ordered the iSpring for a home I purchased that had no ro in it. I did more than my fair share of research prior to making the purchase, and this was the winner. Initially I was going to contract the work out, but after viewing the installation video on youtube, I realized...., I have a bit of G2, so this should not be too difficult to complete, so I took on the task, and the step by step video, turned me into a semi-professional plumber...!! The system went on flawlessly. As easy as 123. I am so happy that I chose to do the install myself, and on top of everything, I saved hundreds of dollars from what the local plumbers wanted to charge. I would recommend this unit to anyone. Now to see if it lives up its name of being one of the top ro systems around...!!

I installed the filter system a few years ago and have done a few filter changes. Everything works great.

So far, so good. Installation was simple (if you have done one before) and all parts needed, (and then some), are included. My tap water is 450PPM. This unit produces water that is 24 PPM on the second tankful. The booster pump is the thing that I feel makes this unit great. It increases the pressure thru the membrane to 80psi allowing quick and efficient water production. Way better than the normally 40 to 60 psi you get at your tap. As I have only had the unit for a day now, durability will remain to be seen, but no reason to doubt it, as they use quality parts. One big factor in selecting a unit is cost of filters. They have a package for all filters you will need for a full three years for sale for $165, which to me, seems pretty reasonable.

I have had this RO for 3 months now and love it!! I loved that it had less waste waster then other brands and the water tastes great. Install was easy and seems to be fair quality. We will see how it holds up long term.

Incredibly easy to install. All plumbing should be color-coded and hand-tightened. OK, you do need a couple of tools, and drilling a hole in the sink and drain lines while simple does imply a certain level of commitment. The water tastes fresh, and weve had no leaks after ensuring the tubing was properly set. Took my wife and I about 2 hours to install @ less than 1CWPH* Its new and I cant comment on longevity, but Ill try and remember to post an update down the road. The shipping was speedy as well, and the video was a HUGE help in installing the system. *Cuss Words Per Hour, a standard plumbing measurement.

I bought this reverse osmosis system 6 months ago and installed it myself (with some help from my husband). I am so pleased with it. With the step by step video instructions, it was not difficult to install. It has made a huge difference in our drinking water. I think our whole family is healthier since we got it. When I had questions about installation and when to replace filters, I got prompt and helpful responses from iSpring. If youre looking to have great water on a limited budget, look no further. The replacement filters are quite reasonably priced, as is the whole system. Cant recommend it highly enough.

Okay, I rarely write reviews but this product deserves one! I stayed up late, so I could focus without children wanting to help, and this took me about an hour and a half to install. I spent a good bit of that time reviewing/ following the installation video I found on YouTube... but a word of warning... DONT INSTALL THIS FROM THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT COME WITH IT! ... the diagrams are poor and the wording needs work. I seriously thought to hire a plumber after reading them through. Thank God my plumber is very busy and he sent me a link to the install video. Watching the video made this all very straight forward. [...] My only tip for all you DIYers is to push the tubing in as hard as you can! It takes a fair bit of force to get the tubing past the rubber seals. My wife is a water snob and she is extremely happy with the taste.
