I love this system. I live in Phoenix, AZ and our water is very hard and has a bad taste. Our local government has been telling us for years that our water is safe to drink but I dont trust it. Besides if something was wrong or did go wrong, how long would it take to find out? How long would they wait to tell you there was an issue? How much lead, arsenic, Chlorine, Chloramine or worse do you want to drink? Personally I enjoy the R/O tap water I have now that tastes a lot like Dasani. There are times when I wish I had purchased the 100 Gal. p/day system over the 75 Gal. p/day. But for 95% of this one works well.

We used to have a 3 stage Sears RO system in the kitchen, but after years of use it needed to be replaced. At the time we switched to a Britta pitcher filter because it was cheap. And then we started buying bottled water. We didnt like the plastic waste and when we sat down and figured out that we spent over $500 a year in bottled water, we decided to get an RO system again. After some research we settled on a 7 stage system for our well water. It adds the needed minerals back into the water and has the safe guard of the UV for bacteria. We have a UV filter in our fresh water fish tank, so we have seen how effective UV is. We love the faucet. The old faucet was the type you push down on the handle and hold, which is fine for a cup but not for a gallon pitcher. Also, we wanted a system that had at least the first filter with a clear container beacuse our well water is high in sediment and we need to see when to change it. Although we have a house sediment filter that we change weekly, we know that we will have to change the RO sediment filter more frequently than recommended to protect the rest of the system. The final consideration was the cost and availability of the filters. Previously, buying the filters from Sears was expenisve and often the local store didnt stock them, which drove me to buying them online. So, when I found that I could easily reorder a 2 year supply of the filters for iSpring system on Amazon for a reasonable cost, it sold me on the system.Since the space under our kitchen sink is limited and the previous RO system caused water damage under the sink, we decided to install this system in the basement between the laundry tub and the sump pump. My husband and son had to drill into the laundry tub to install the faucet and power-nailed boards to the wall to support the filters. That was the hard part. The area already had the grounded outlet that is needed for the UV fliter. Set-up of the tubing and filters was very easy as it is color-coded. Because our basement installation is not standard (the system is meant to go under a sink), we will have to get some tubing that is a bit longer (available on Amazon -- couldnt find it at the hardware store). After we started using the system, I noticed that the ballast light was not coming on. I registered our system with iSpring and sent them an email about the problem. They promptly sent us a whole new UV filter with return postage for the broken UV filter, which they want to troubleshoot. My son and I installed the replacement filter and it is working just fine. Not only does the ballast light up but the plastic connections that come out of the UV filter light up as well when water is flowing through them. While it is nice to know the bulb is working, I am thinking of covering those connections to protect us from any possible UV exposure. This wouldnt be a conern if we had installed it under a sink. And Im probably being a bit paranoid becuase the eye doctor told me to stay away from UV light due to my cataracts. One downside of all RO systems is the waste water. Since we public sewer, my husband drilled a hole in the laundry tub (which is plastic) for the waste water tube. If we had a septic tank, I would have considered directing the waste water to the sump pump. As an alternative to dumping the waste water, I plan to collect it to use to water my flowers. Because of the frequent rain (we installed the system about a month ago), I havent been able to do this yet. We have also used this water to top-off our barrel of water that we keep to flush the toilets with when the power goes out (when you have a well, no power = no water).Overall, we are very pleased with our new system and would recommend it to other people looking for a 7 stage RO system.

This was very easy to install and the water tastes great! At first it had a bit of a plastic taste, but that went away after a couple weeks.

Faucet leaked a lot. I had to wait for them to send a new faucet in order to start using this system.

The customer service is really exceptional. Customer service contacted me to follow up with my purchase and make sure everything was working. I initially had issue with the auto shut off valve, the problem was resolved quickly. The filter works perfectly now and Im very happy with the quality of the filter.

Love the features and love the system. The install took some time but once you have RO water, nothing else will do.

My husband installed this unit to replace our old RO this weekend. It went together easily and he is very impressed with the design. The instructions were clear even though the English wasnt great.Water tastes nice and clean. Doesnt have the same pressure compared to our previous unit though, but its still adequate.

Checked the PH level and its a solid 8! Not bad for a home unit. Make sure to charge your water with pyramids so your drinking positive electrically charged healing water similar to what the Himalayan mountains create. For more info watch "The Secret of Water Documentary" and or "The Source Field Investigations" book.

Awesome system in my opinion. I was a little intimidated installing this myself, but in the end it all worked and it didnt leak...after I went through a second time. So as far as water quality it made a huge difference in both clarity and taste. We have well water where I live and its wasnt bad, but we could see all the sediment in the water when you showed a light through. The taste was just the right amount of alkalie. The install was pretty straight forward with the color-coded tubes. My only mistake was being a little to gingerly with the connections. I got it all installed and had a few leaks. Once I went to the few connections that were leaking I realized I hadnt fully seated the tubes. After I went through and double checked everything its been dry since then. weve had this 4 or 5 months now and it been a real champ. Would definitely recommend to a friend.
