The set up was easy - and I, a mere 26 year old deckhand, was able to figure it out. This was very easy to install (after figuring out how to drill a hole in the sink).

Our water went from 232 parts to 22. This system provides enough water for a 3 people family.

Instructions were thorough and easy to follow installation was easy. Price was great. Totally happy with the unit. We are on well water and the water tastes the best it has in years.

Installed the faucet where the soap would normally be. When the handyman (I am widowed so I had hired him to help with several things here) installed this water system, you could see that the water was clearer and it tested at 6!! It has been so nice and convenient to have clear, safe water for my coffee, cooking, the pets water bowl and myself.

So it removes everything minerals chemicals and it's just basically really really pure water. After the third tank of water from our new system the TDS was down to 3.

We have purchased the home water tester and it also informs us that the treated water is excellent.

Background: Living in the SF Bay Area, I wouldnt say that our water is the best option for drinking straight from the tap. My wife and I were tired of buying gallon jugs of drinking water from Target, so we sorted water filtration systems by top sellers. Along with a little research online, we decided on the iSpring. With 1 week of use so far, were very satisfied with the purchase. The water tastes great - not heavy, very crisp, and with no smell or discernible taste. A few things to keep in mind: - I worked at a leisurely pace and got everything installed in an hour. No special tools needed - theres also a roll of teflon tape included. - Be sure to check for leaks, as instructed. I didnt place one of the hoses deep enough into its receptacle and it leaked upon initial start up. One of the filter housings needed to be tightened as well. Once those two items were addressed, its leak free. - There are spare parts that come with the kit. Be sure to save these just in case theyre needed - I had a hole in the granite that already existed for a soap dispenser. Its 1.5 in diameter, and the spigot fits OK. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this system to anyone that asked and am happy with my decision.
