Our citys water is good but were slowly becoming surrounded by oil fracking sites so I dont like the idea of drinking straight from the tap. Im not sure this filters equipped to handle whatever chemicals may become present from fracking but its got to be better than nothing. When I opened the package I was surprised by how substantial it felt. Its clearly very well made and makes you feel like youve spent your $200 very wisely. It feels like a commercial-grade product. Sadly, the tank came with damage - dents and scrapes. I called iSprings customer service and was happy to have my call directly answered by a human being. She was friendly and shipped me a new tank within 4 days. Im a relatively handy guy and the installation was pretty easy. But...the unit sprung 3 or 4 leaks as soon as I ran water to it. It was leaking from every hose I attached during installation. I called for help and was told to mark a line 1/2in inch and to make sure to push the hoses in at least that far. This requires a little more force than I was led to believe from watching their installation video (i.e., the guy in the video makes pushing the hoses into the valves look effortless). Once I got the hoses in 1/2in deep the unit stopped leaking. About 4 hours later, after continuing the start-up instructions which involved cycling water through the system twice, I was pleased with the taste of the water; its very good. This is my first reverse osmosis water filter and Im very pleased with it. I recommend this product.

I have zero plumbing knowledge but I followed the YouTube video instructions and it works perfectly. My fiancé and I love the taste of the water. The filters may be a little tricky to replace since the unit (when full) is pretty heavy

I found the unit good quality and was a breeze to install with the helpful videos and walkthrus. I broke one of my fittings and was happy to see some extras added to my box. It took my tap water with a TDS of 167 down to around 16 in the first few days.. Im happy with my purchase and will recommend it to my friends and family.

The water system was easy enough to install as the video on YouTube that I was referred to in the instructions was fantastic. Make sure you have a drill for the drain hole required. The instructions provided werent anything remarkable and were kinda wordy. If there was more description with extra pictures for clarity they would have been solid. That being said the system works flawlessly (so far) and the water taste is 1000 times better than before (well water). Initially had a plastic taste from all the tubes and such but a 4 days later and it tastes fantastic. Marvelous product thus far but time will tell if it remains stellar.
