One detail was pure quality and it was leaking because of this. So my hubby had to buy new one at. Home Depot and now everything works fine and I like the water quality.

I have only one drain pipe and it is very short. I did not mount the filters as the instruction recommends but juet let is sit on the cabinet floor. I figure it will be easier to change the filters in the future by pulling it out. After reading a few reviews on leaks, I found them mostly caused by the tubing not being fully inserted. As what the manual says, it has to go in about 1/2 inch deep.

I have used RO water for about 12 years, I needed to replace my old (2001) unit, as it unfixable no-name junk. I learned about I-Spring a few years back when I bought filter elements and other parts. I talked to them (very knowledgable) about trying to repair the old unit and became impressed with their complete new units. I read a lot of reviews about I-Spring and various other RO units. I bought the RCC7 five-stage unit and was impressed with it immediately out of the box, I should say that I have a lot of plumbing experience in both Home and large-marine applications, so minor problems, should there be any, dont bother me. Installation of the RCC7 was simple and straightforward. After instalation was done I did have some questions which were promptly answered by Dianne at I-Spring. I-Spring is a very friendly company to work with - I really don't think you will find their knowledge level and the quality products from the big-box stores or other Internet companies.

Bought a water testing kit at the same time and saw a 98% reduction in dissolved particles. We were very hesitant to purchase this system but it came highly recommended.

The only thing I don't necessarily like is that it s difficult to tighten down the water dispenser so it does not turn withouteaking.
