We love our reverse osmosis filtration system from iSpring. Its actually the second system we have bought. We sold our home and left the system but it was the first thing we bought to go in our new home. The water never tasted better. It also gives me piece of mind that my baby is getting cleaner water from the tap. We save money, waste (no plastic bottles), and feel healthier for it. We have converted at least 1 friend and work on telling others every chance we get. The installation is not difficult and you can even hook it up to your refrigerator ice maker for cleaner better tasting ice. I cant say enough about home much we love our system thanks!

I installed my system nearly 2 years ago and I must say, I am more then pleased with the customer support, quality of water ease of maintenance and ordering supplies. I installed mine below the kitchen sink in the basement for ease of maintenance and also hooked my refrigerator water and ice as well. This system is hands down the best most affordable system out there.

I bought this because our Security Colorado water supply was contaminated and unsafe to drink. We did what everyone else did and bought bottled water, it was expensive and a constant plastic mess, my kids left half drank bottles of water all over the house. I did some research and learned the only water filter system that would remove the PFC contaminates from our drinking water was reverse osmosis. After watching some videos and reading several articles I decided that every house in should probably have reverse osmosis. I selected and purchased the iSpring RCC7 WQA Gold Seal Certified 5-Stage Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Filter System because of the enormous amount of positive reviews, the systems affordability, the low cost of replacement filters, and the ease of installation. My only concern was the runoff water but I purchased a separate Permeate Pump which solved the problem of excessive waste water. The system installation went fairly smooth, when they say to push the 1/4 inch hose firmly into the T connectors they arent kidding. We charged the system and it started to leak from the first fitting, we shut off the supply water and discovered that we hadnt pushed any of the connectors in far enough. So after we manned up and muscled the connectors the system pressurized perfectly. We bled the air out of the European style faucet which I personally really like and then shut down the system to install the permeate pump which was also fairly easy. One more 5 minute round of bleeding the air and we opened the water storage tank. It took about a hour and a half to completely fill the water storage tank, during which time we made several leak checks, not a single drop. We changed out the filter in our refrigerator and purged the water supply tank through the refrigerator. I couldnt help but notice our refrigerator pressure was greatly increased which was a pleasant bonus. Our before test 187 PPM and after was 7 PPM. (PPM - particles per million) A month later I installed an identical reverse osmosis system at my parents house. It went much faster and smoother the 2nd time around and yielded the same results with the exception that their refrigerator pressure didnt change? Their before 192 PPM and after 8 PPM A year later before we changed the filters test 17 PPM after we changed the Stage 1,2,and 3 filters as per the directions we got 7 PPM at both houses. CONS: Some waste water, with the permeate pump our waste water was cut considerably. With both houses we saw no apparent increase in our water bill or water usage. Filters, a necessary evil but compared to the cost of refrigerator replacement filters these are a real bargain. We havent changed our refrigerator filter since the install but decided we should probably change it every two years to be on the safe side. PROS: Your health, your families health, the peace of mind of knowing that even if your home town water company is not being proactive in publically reporting their findings because the ground water contamination is within EPA guidelines for safe drinking water that your family wont be getting poisoned for years unknowingly until the EPA lowers the guidelines and they are forced to report that your water has been questionably safe for the last couple of years. Regardless of where we live in the future we will never not have this in our home.

Great in all respects! Im not a mechanic nor plumber, but a 60+ year old female. With a YouTube video and the enclosed installation instructions, I was able to install it myself. Now, Im enjoying the clean water, no longer tasting the chemicals of city water supply. Thank you, Nick, for bringing such a great product to market.

I purchased this to replace an existing RO system I had. Install went easy because I did not have to rerun any of the tubing, but this system looks like it came with all the supplied parts to make a fresh install a snap. I like the different color tubes to help track which line is which. The issue with my last system was I never had enough RO water to meet my needs and I had weak water pressure at my sink and my refrigerator that are located upstairs. This model with the larger tank and pump solved both issues. The pressure is strong enough to get upstairs and it refills quickly. We have not used up all the water yet even when six kids are all filling water bottles and we are using it for cooking.

Got the RO system for Christmas and installed it over the weekend. Installation couldnt have been easier. The instructions, along with diagrams, made it foolproof. The water is now drinkable! My only regret is that I didnt install one years ago. Thank you Nick and the rest of the team from iSpring for a superior product.

I purchased an iSpring Reverse Osmosis system in February of 2015. The Model Number RCC7P, is a 5-stage filter bank with a high pressure pump.BOTTOM LINE: Excellent design, excellent construction, excellent support.Operation: This unit has operated flawlessly for 18 months with Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) input water of 270ppm and typically < 20ppm TDS output water. There is no visible light-scattering in the output water and there are no smells. The water capacity and recharge rate are more than adequate for typical home usage. Flow rate with full buffer/storage tank is good: a 20 ounce bottle in less than 10 seconds, and a gallon humidifier tank in about 1.5 to 2 minutes. The rated capacity is 75 gallons per day, which is more than adequate for home use. We purchased the accessory pump because the pressure of our rural water company is low and variable. The storage tank holds 3+ gallons, quite a bit for most home use. So the recharge time would be a little under an hour, but we rarely use enough to empty the tank, and get another gallon in 20 minutes or so when we need it.Engineering and Construction: The design and layout of the RCC7P is excellent, with a compact and efficient layout of filters, pressure switches, pumps, and other components on a strong, coated steel bracket. All of the components are of high quality, durable, and strong materials and design. There is plenty of space between the 3 vertical input filters to use the (supplied) spanner wrench for installation and periodic replacement of the large filters. The primary solids filter is transparent to allow inspection of its condition. The 2 horizontal filters (Reverse Osmosis & Output Charcoal) are mounted with sturdy plastic clips for easy installation and replacement. The spanner wrench for replacement of the RO filter is included. The electrical components (Low & high pressure switches, inlet water solenoid, auto-flush solenoid, and pump with transformer) are judiciously tucked along the bracket shelf. (A design choice was made to put the RO filter and output charcoal filter above the electrical components on the shelf to allow for ease of filter replacement; the possibility of water leaks dripping onto the electrical parts seems to be obviated by hermetically sealed pump and at least water resistant containers for the other electricals.)The pump is so quiet that you will not hear it run unless the house is very quiet. You will likely hear the flush water and the click of the solenoid valves if you are standing close and listening. All the necessary components are supplied including the cold-water inlet adapter/shutoff valve, drain side adapter, mounting bracket, and 110VAC cord and plug. The current model includes the water detector / flood sensor and alarm, which will sense 1/8 inch or greater water level sitting in the bottom of your sink cabinet. Before you buy:1) You may want to view the good iSpring installation video and peruse the manual as part of making your purchase decision.2) Check with your water company on what your water pressure is; order the iSpring unit with booster pump if it is under 30 psi. This is better done before you install a pump-free model and then find out you have to retrofit a booster pump because your delivered water pressure is too low.3) You should make sure that you have space under your sink or other location for the RO assembly .4) Determine what the thread size of the cold water inlet valve under your sink. It is typically female 3/8 inch NPT (National Pipe Thread) with the hose connecting it to the sink cold water faucet a male 3/8" NPT. (I always leave the tags on the hoses so that I can easily get the right fitting size and length for replacements. If you cant figure it out, a friend with some home plumbing experience may be able to tell. In the worse case, you can remove the cold water hose and take it to your local hardware store and see what size fitting fits on the hose. Use a faucet wrench to remove the hose at the faucet end--see number 6 below.) If you have 1/2" NPT fittings on your cold water line, ask iSpring when you order if they can supply you that valve rather than the 3/8" standard size supplied. Otherwise, you should not have difficulty finding size adapters at the local hardware; its usually best to take the parts with you to get the proper sizes.5) There were two versions of the RO sink faucet: the conventional, shiny, chromium plated and the modern, brushed chromium, European design. iSpring swapped the standard for the European design for me for free, and the current catalog shows the European design as standard; you may want to ask if you would prefer the high polish chromium plated faucet.6) To install the supplied RO water faucet, you will want a standard plumbing tool called a "faucet wrench" which you can get from any hardware or plumbing store. If you are double-jointed and a contortionist, you can lie on your back under the sink and tighten the nuts holding the faucet in place. Get one of these for your standard tool kit in any case.7) You will need two 3/4" phillips head wood screws for mounting the assembly. These are not supplied. If you plan to mount the unit to drywall, you will need to purchase the plastic screw inserts to carry the weight of the RO unit. Use tapered head wood screws smaller than the keyhole in the mounting bracket and dont tighten them all the way so that you can install and remove the unit by aligning the bracket holes to the screws and dropping the assembly onto the screws.8) You may need to buy an adaptor for your electrical outlet if you already have filled its two slots with the dishwasher and garbage disposal plugs.9) Buy an inexpensive, small container of food-grade Silicone grease. Apply gently to the 3 inch filter housing o-rings to assist in sealing and increase longevity. It will also make inserting the 1/4" tubing into the "quick-fit" connectors easier and help these o-rings to seal. Dont use excess grease, just a light coating. DO NOT USE PETROLEUM GREASE, even though the manual says its ok; it can dissolve the o-ring seals over time.Support:My experience with the iSpring support team has been excellent. Immediately after purchase they swapped the standard RO faucet for the European model without charge or shipping fees. The technical support people are pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. The wait time to talk to a tech has been negligible. When a quick-fit tubing did not seal after a filter replacement, they shipped the replacement parts 2-day air without additional shipping fee.The web site has a full list of spare parts and replacement filters, with a good picture and description of each, at quite reasonable prices. Discounts and free shipping over $35 order total are routine. (Therefore, your RO unit will ship free.)Installation:1) The current instructions are useful and mostly correct. Read through the manual so you know what is ahead of you at any point. Watch the Installation Video. There are a few places where the parts may differ slightly from the ones that you received, but this should not change their functionality. In addition to using the Instructions:2) Check off all the parts against the parts list, and verify that you received the cold water valve adapter size and the above sink RO faucet that you specified.3) Install all the filters in the filter housing as per the manual. Use a light coating of silicone grease to the o-rings. Best not to over-torque the housings; hand tight should be good.3) I found that the most convenient mounting location for the assembly was on the right hand side wall of the sink cabinet because of the layout of my existing plumbing. Standard sinks are nearly always deeper than the 12" length of the iSpring bracket. At right angles to that, if you can leaving 6 inches or more in front of the unit, you should be able to insert and turn the supplied spanner wrench onto the vertical filters for removal for periodic filter replacements.4) To get proper positioning of the mounting bracket (Not specified in the manual.) a) Mark a dot a minimum of 20 inches above the bottom of the sink cabinet. This height will allow the filters to be removed and replaced without taking the entire assembly off the wall and out of the cabinet, which will save you a lot of time and labor later. b) Using a level, draw a long, horizontal line through the dot (above). c) Mark two dots on the line where the mounting screws will go EXACTLY - 11 5/8 inches apart. (Check the dimension and spacing of the holes on your unit.) d) Screw in the tapered head wood screws, snugly, but not all the way, so that you can install and remove the unit later without hassles. e) Verify that the RO mounting bracket hangs properly before you continue with the completion of the assembly.5) DO NOT TURN ON WATER UNTIL EVERYTHING IS ASSEMBLED AND THE UNIT IS HUNG ON THE SCREWS; It is heavy and hard to manipulate with water in all the filters and you dont need to play with leaks until the unit is in place.6) iSpring supplies lots of 1/4 inch polyethylene line. You will probably be very happy sometime down the line if you install enough tubing to allow you to take the RO unit out from under the sink without having to disconnect all the lines.Place the RO unit on the floor in front of the sink, and measure approximately the length of line needed for each of the red, black, blue, and yellow tubing to reach the cold-water supply valve (red), the drain saddle (black), the line to the RO faucet (blue), and the tube to the ballast tank (yellow). Use more rather than less, and coil the excess when you install the unit.7) iSpring supplies "quick-fit" tubing connectors, which are easy to use. On the "quick-fit" side, a tiny bit of food-grade silicone grease can ease insertion. On the NPT-threaded side (such as connecting to either of the horizontal filters), 4 or 5 full turns of teflon tape (usually supplied with the unit by iSpring) will generally improve the seal.8) Install the drain saddle on a horizontal sink drain pipe to minimize sound. Its best to place it on a line away from the garbage disposal, and drill the hole on top of the existing drain pipe to assist the check valve in minimizing any possibility of back flow contamination in the RO water.9) Install the filters as per the manual.10) Make all the tubing connections11) When everything is ready to go: a) Have towels and bowls handy for the inevitable leaky fittings. b) Turn on the cold-water supply slowly, while repeatedly checking all fittings and filter seals for leaks. I dry my fingers and run them around all joints. Tighten or loosen leaky fittings, repeating until the leaks stop ENTIRELY at full pressure. Plug in the unit and repeat the leak-checking when the pump turns on. c) Check for leaks again over the next hour or two. Even very small leaks will make a real mess under your sink. d) If you have intransigent leaks, remove the tubing and check for damage of the tubing or o-ring. On the vertical filters, check that the o-ring is seated in the groove and not damaged.12) You may want to place a small cookie sheet with vertical sides permanently under the RO Unit as a drip pan, so if there is a significant leak, the leak sensor / alarm will detect the 1/8 inch level in the pan before the cabinet is sopping wet.Other:1) I compared this unit with many RO assemblies available from both internet and big-box stores. It was clearly above the others in design and layout, materials, component, and assembly quality. The manual better than most and is complete and mainly accurate. Even the shipping packaging was thought through with all the components well protected and in a minimal volume.2) It comes with spare filter housing o-rings, a couple of extra quick-fittings, and spare quick-fit clips, and even a roll of teflon tape.3) The manual has been improved recently and has better step-by-step and better photos. YOU MIGHT TAKE A LOOK AT THE MANUAL ON THE iSPRING WEB SITE and other vendors AS PART OF YOUR PRODUCT EVALUATION BEFORE YOU BUY.4) The manual included with my RCC7P model has the schematic diagram for the plumbing including the booster pump and the associated switches. The newer manual on the web site which should include the diagram with the pump is missing from that manual. It would be helpful to understanding the operation if the information on how the pump and auto-flush valves operate. (From tech support, I learned that the Low Pressure Switch is ON when the pressure on the low side of the pump is less than 20-25 psi. The High-Pressure Switch is OFF when the pressure exceeds 40-45 psi.) The schematic diagram, therefore, would imply that the Auto-Flush Solenoid, Inlet Water Solenoid, and High-Pressure Pump should all be ON simultaneously, but the Auto-Flush Valve closes after some interval and the Inlet Solenoid and Pump remain on, so there seems to be either an issue with the schematic or my interpretation.5) I have not measured the flush water use, but the flush water turns off quite quickly, so I tend to believe the iSpring claims that it is the lowest, with only a ratio of 2 to 3 times flush water volume to RO water used.6) Generally, the pricing directly from iSpring is identical to Amazon, and you can ask questions to knowledgeable iSpring techs directly at the time of order.BOTTOM LINE:A little more expensive than some of the big-box and internet RO units, but you get what you paid for with iSpring.

Super-easy install. Not only instruction booklet, but Youtube videos super helpful. I had another system for about eight years which gurgled loudly. This one is silent, praise the Lord! Wonderful brushed nickel faucet, again so easy to install. Love the see-through stage one canister. The quick connects work great, the little things matter, and make me happy. I highly recommend this system to anyone!
