Just got mine. Check my well water (mid 260s) ...my filter water (mid 280s) ...rain water (below 10) and water from my dehumidifier (mid 30s)... seems to work. I find it odd my filter water (triple filtration) reads HIGHER then well water without filtering, but who knows...

I live in an area that the water supply concerns me. We have a RO system.I wont use the water coming out of the faucet for drinking or cooking. I only use filtered water.I use this meter to test the water for our use. We change the filters every year and I check the water to see when thefilters need to be changed. I have even brought this to a restaurant to check the water they serve. Our water supply has a rating of500 PPM my RO water is 20PPM. I want to drink only filtered water. I watch what our family drinks to keep healthy.
