This is my second Ispring unit. I bought it for a friend as a gift. The o-ring gasket for the membrane housing was torn and as expected Ispring provided rapid extraordinary customer service and sent a replacement right away. The water tastes great as expected (Southern California resident- TDS of tapwater has jumped since the drought and tastes terrible). I do however recommend adding a permeate pump to reduce water waste to any RO system (increases filter performance/production rate and regulates the brine to permeate ratio to 1:1).

It had been in the back of my mind to buy this system for years, I was just afraid of the effort it would take to install it. Installing is a bit of work if youre not a handy man or used to squeezing in small spaces and being in awkward positions. It took me about 5 hours setting up my kitchen sink area for it and putting this together. BUT, get it.. its worth it even if you end up paying to get it installed. Its comforting knowing that you are drinking clean water day in day out. I only drink water from this now. It tastes amazing.

Purchased 12 Jan 18 and other than a very small leak from one of the elbows (fixed) and some initial rubber smell and taste from the tank bladder which I think is normal and expected (purged several times), the system works great, installed pretty easy...water is clean, crisp and tastes great with zero leaks. This is the 2nd iSpring RO system I have purchased. I had the 6 stage system in my house in town. I moved to a rural location and bought this one. I have well water and it has so much iron it floats/sinks in a glass. My TDS at the tap from my softened water system (that includes an iron water conditioner) is like 880ppm. My RO tap is 30ppm!! The water pressure to 2 upstairs faucets and 1 ice maker is great!! I use this for my drinking water and to make coffee and tea. We buy a case of bottled water every month for the convenience of having it. This water tastes better to me. When I bought this house it had an older(15yr old) kinetico RO system. Filters were gonna cost me like $200. After having this system in my other house it was an easy decision to buy another. As others have stated - this system is much better and less expensive than some of the "name brand" systems. I installed it myself in less than an hour because all the plumbing was already run to spigots at sinks & refrigerators. I highly recommend quick connect push connectors available at all home improvement stores.

6 months in with no issues so far. Using in a household of 2 adults and 1 child. Was fairly painless to install, search for the videos online from their company to make it much easier, did it myself. I did notice a couple small leaks over the first few days but that was quickly fixed by removing the larger filters and adding some vaseline in the threads to seal better. Since then no leaks at all and everything looks and functions very well. The pump is nearly silent, you can just barely hear it with the cupboard doors closed. Well worth the money, even just for the fact that we no longer have to carry the large 20L water bottles we were buying before (especially in winter or rain!).

Works better than I expected. I pump from a well with an initial tds reading of just under 700. It has a high manganeze content. The reading at the tap is now 26. Awesome! We did blind taste tests this weekend between unfiltered, filtered and bottled water and everyone picked the filtered water as best tasting. Installation was basic with a good level of detail. I modified it slightly by mounting it on a cinder block wall in my basement. No clutter under the sink! One small issue with a broken o-ring, but Hellen in customer service was excellent and looked after me first rate.

The system itself works great. The reason I am giving this a 4 star is due to getting the incorrect rubber washers for the sink water dispenser. The washers I got are too small for the flange that goes over the hole. The washer should be slightly larger than the flange to prevent leaking below and to allow the dispenser to be adequately tightened. The washers provided are not even large enough to cover the sink hole. I ended up using my old RO system water dispenser for now. I tried calling the company a couple of times with only the option is to leave a message. Would be nice to actually have a person answer the phone.
