This works very easily and very accurately from what I can tell. Tested with a variety of water sources (including Distilled @ 0, RO @ 2 -8 depending on source, Deionized @ 0, and Tap @ 132). Great if you need to know that TDS for brewing or other purposes.

Have used this system at our lake home, which has awful well water, for the past 18 months. Even though we have a water treatment system (Kinetico) the tap water is still a little skanky. This system made a big difference. The coffee tastes so much better now, and the ice in our ice maker now comes out crystal clear. We even stopped buying bottled water, and just refill our individual water bottles. Would definitely buy again.

Purchased this system as I have a rather shallow well and the iron content was very high. You could actually see a yellow tinge in a clear glass of water and taste the iron. I installed the iSpring and the water is clear now and no iron taste. Installation was simple and straight forward. Everything needed for the install was included. I am very satisfied.

I live in a rural area with very hard and foul tasting water. We constantly have elevated nitrates in our water supply. I bought this system to remove the nitrates, other undesirable minerals and also to generally improve the taste of my tap water. In addition, I also purchased the Fridge Connection and Ice Maker Kit and I can say I absolutely love this system. The taste of the water is fantastic from the sink and refrigerator. I dont have any more cloudy ice cubes due to the sediments in the water supply. I no longer have to buy 5 gal jugs of bottled water and bags of ice cubes. I did have my system professionally installed and couldnt be happier. I highly recommend this product.
