My 1st membrane failed at 30 days but after some searching I found the email for ispring and they were great. After a few easy trouble shooting attempts they agreed the membrane was bad and immediately shipped me a new one.The new membrane is now installed and working perfectly. So, many thanks to ispring cs. Here is the email I used: sales@ispringfilter.com

The brine seal wasnt installed properly before it was taped on, it was slightly crooked, and leaking the source water into the waste water stream, reducing incoming pressure. I took the brine seal from a Filmtec membrane and installed it beneath the existing one, re-using the tape from the Filmtec, and now the thing seals properly. I suspect that most users would never notice it because this brand seems to be geared towards drinking water users who dont test their pressures or outputs.Even after fixing the brine seal issue, the product-waste ratio was much worse than DOW Filmtecs. Usually I get 4:1 waste/product with Filmtec, but this gives me 10:1 waste/product. I learned from an aquarium reefing forum that I can install a valve (needle valve would be better but its expensive, and I had a spare ball valve) on the waste line to increase the back pressure, and I now run this membrane at 2:1 waste/product. Im not concerned with the membrane life because the chloramine filters are far more expensive when running at high waste water ratios.Ill be spending an extra few dollars for a Filmtec next time because its not much difference in cost.UPDATE: iSpring kindly sent me a replacement membrane. The brine seal was aligned properly on the replacement but the rejection rate is still not as good as a Filmtec. However the latter issue is no longer a concern because of the valve installed on the waste line lets me adjust the rejection rate. Ive updated my rating.
