I did have a professional install this and it took less than one hour and a little over one hundred dollars for his fees. Drinking a lot more water, and wasting a lot lest plastic bottles.

The 6 stage RO system is really worth it. Water tastes so much better than regular reverse osmosis water. I would recommend this system if you are looking for good tasting water.

I think that you really only need to change stage 2 and 3 every two years but stage one every year. When the system is operating, there is filtered water that goes into the reservoir tank, and waste water that goes down the drain. I really don't like the idea of wasting water so I bought the one with pump which suppose to reduce the waste. The pump is pretty quiet when working I can barely notice it.
