Nice filter. Installs easy. Ensure that you use plenty of plummers tape for connections. Filter does not have pressure gauges to measure the pre/ post pressure. For all the parts to install gauges is nearly 60.00. Kind of disappointing. Also there is no button to relieve the pressure. You need to add a ball valve with drain or add a spigot otherwise the filters aren’t coming off. Excellent customer service. I called with a question about reversing the flow. They answered the phone immediately and were helpful with the answer. You unscrew the bolts and turn it around, very easy to reverse the flow.

Spoke with customer service to spec out a system for a well. This system works great and there is a noticeable difference in the water!

Installed unit last week without any leaks. All threaded fittings were attached with blue tape and pipe thread compound. I used one inch pex with copper crimp fittings. In addition to the spin down sediment filter, I also attached a pressure gauge after the filter and there was little drop in pressure. I will have the water tested in about a week and compare it to the previous test but so far the water is noticeably clearer. Hopefully the cartridges will have a reasonable life span although I am not clear on how to determine when they need to be changed. Anyway, so far, so good.

I bought this filter system to take care of the high level of iron that I have in my water from our well. It works incredibly well. Plumber had never seen this type of system and thought pressure would drop or I might have trouble finding filters. I can say that there was no pressure drop at all and the 20" x 4.5" are a standard size that you can find at Menards. I wish I would have bought this years ago! Our water did not have any smell or bad taste so maybe I will switch out the carbon filter with another sediment filter. Buying all 3 filters separately cost 120.00. The Iron/Manganese is like 80 bucks separate from ispring but the sediment filters are reasonable at 36.00. I will say that this system is big and heavy. You need a good mounting space with plenty of room. I suppose it won't work for everyone but it worked for me. I guess it depends on what your water is like to start with. It saved me from having to buy a water softener, which my wife and I both hate. For those with a lot of sediment in your water I would suggest a prefilter. I will see how long the filters last and if the pressure drops. I will update what the filters look like after 3 months but I hope to get 6 to 9 months out of the filters.
